Finally, the wait is over. We can all stop debating the latest trades and speculating on the outcome of our teams. Now we can sit back and let the 2025 NFL season begin. If the excitement wasn’t sky high already, we’ve upped the ante by throwing out our parlay bet for week 1. We thought out of the box and assessed what an NFL-Motorsport parlay would look like heading into opening weekend. We’ve selected a mix of calculated underdogs and heavy favorites to construct a moderately conservative bet slip that potentially pays out $2,430.38 for a $20 stake.
The Detroit Lions take the field for the first time this season on Sunday, September 7, at Green Bay. Motown’s finest run out as the underdogs, but they fancy their chances against an outfit they’ve toppled 6-2, since Dan Campbell arrived at the helm.
Bills To Beat Ravens (+105)
The Buffalo Bills host the Ravens on Sunday night in one of the matchups of the week. We have faith in the Bills to recover after a tough pre-season, which ended 1-2. With negatives out of the way, this is the same team that reached the AFC Championship game last season, after narrowly defeating the same rivals they face this weekend.
Oscar Piastri For Pole In Italy (+109)
The 2025 Drivers’ Championship leader, Oscar Piastri, touches down in Northern Italy brimming with confidence. He navigated his way to victory at Zandvoort a week ago and now has seven victories under the hood this season at an average of 2.33.
Jett Lawrence To Clinch SMX Playoff #1 (-285)
After an eventful Supercross and Pro Motocross season, the Playoffs have arrived. First up is Concord, and Jett Lawrence is heavily favored to enter Victory Lane. The Australian is back-to-back triumphant in this series and is heavily favored to prevail on Saturday. He comes into the event in form after winning nine out of 11 MX rounds this year.
David Gravel At WoO Desert Showdown (+110)
World of Outlaws sprint cars return to Vado for the first race since 2022, and we have David Gravel for victory on opening night. The series leader starts with a 3.49 finishing average across the season, which features 12 trips inside of Victory Lane and 30 podiums.
Kevin Thomas Jr. To Win In Tri-City (+350)
USAC sprint cars accelerate into September at the Tri-City Speedway on Friday night, September 5. Kevin Thomas Jr. earns our backing heading into Granite City after registering three podiums, including two wins in his last five outings.
