It’s taken pre-race favorite Tadej Pogačar less than a week to put some distance between him and his peers. The Slovenian steals the show in the 2025 Tour de France Stage 7 report, claiming pole position in the General and Points classifications.
Tadej Pogačar wrestled back the leader’s jersey from Mathieu van der Poel on Friday, after the Dutchman held a single-second lead heading into the day. Pogačar enters the weekend with a 54-second buffer over Remco Evenepoel
King of the Mountains
Tim Wellens moved a single point clear of his UAE Team Emirates colleague, Pogačar, on stage seven. The Belgian collected one scalp in the Mûr-de-Bretagne (1er passage sur la ligne d’arrivée) climb, enough to keep the jersey heading into Saturday’s proceedings.
