Two weeks have passed since Jett Lawrence secured his third consecutive 450 title, and we’re already chomping at the bit for the next edition. The good news is that the 2026 SMX World Championship schedule is available, and we’re just over three months out from the start of the season. Join us as we dive into the dates and new and retained venues for the SX, MX, and SMX legs of the series.
The first stretch of the 2026 SMX Championship starts in Anaheim on January 10. Riders welcome four new or returning venues to the schedule in the 17 stops between Anaheim and Salt Lake City, the most notable being Cleveland. Supercross riders haven’t lined up on the start hill in that city since 1995. Houston also returns to the fray after a two-season absence to host the first Triple Crown round of the campaign on January 31. The remaining two legs of the competition within a competition hit the dirt in rounds nine and 14. Reigning champion Cooper Webb will have to navigate 17 rounds successfully if he is to retain the title he bagged in 2025.

The second leg of the 2026 SMX Championship continues outdoors, when the Pro Motocross season kicks into gear. All the venues from this term are retained, but organizers have restructured the order. Budds Creek Motocross Park hosted the final round of the 2025 MX competition, but that honor has been transferred back to the people of Crawfordsville, Indiana. The Ironman Raceway held the final rounds in 2023 and 2024 before passing the baton to Budds Creek. Motocross racing kicks into gear in the spring with the inaugural event set for a May 30 showdown at Fox Raceway in Pala.
