Austin Gamblers clinch

The Austin Gamblers finished the regular season with a statement win. Jose Vitor Leme carried the charge in Kansas City, delivering a 90.55-point ride aboard Moonlight Graham to lift Austin past the Oklahoma Wildcatters 90.55-89.10. The win locked up a first-round bye for the Gamblers and gave them a direct path into the championship bracket with one of the best spots in the field. It also added another line to Leme’s already deep résumé. The ride was the 95th 90-point ride of his career, and he picked up his third PBR Teams MVP award, a league record. Austin needed that kind of finish after a tight regular-season race at the top, and Leme delivered when the score mattered most. The result keeps the Gamblers in position to compete in the championship without having to fight through the opening round.

Kansas City Outlaws

The Kansas City Outlaws closed the regular season with a 180.15-176 upset of the Carolina Cowboys, behind a career-high performance from Hayden Welsh. Welsh put together a 91.35-point ride on Humdinger to win the game for Kansas City and give the Outlaws a strong finish in Kansas City. The score reflected how close the matchup stayed from start to finish, with Kansas City landing the decisive ride and Carolina unable to answer at the top end. For Welsh, the ride marked a breakthrough moment. For the Outlaws, it delivered a regular-season win. The result also played into the championship picture at the top of the standings, where every ride carried weight. Carolina’s loss affected the championship picture, while Kansas City left with the upset.

Championship field

The rest of the regular season added more movement to the bracket and the Ride-In Game field. Nashville’s 262.10-177.70 upset of the Missouri Thunder gave the Stampede the final first-round bye at the PBR Teams Championship, and Nashville earned the No. 3 seed through a tiebreaker over Carolina. That result gave the top of the standings its final shape and pushed the Cowboys into the next layer of the bracket race. The Arizona Ridge Riders, Florida Freedom and Oklahoma Wildcatters also settled into the fight for the last spot. Arizona beat Florida 242.75-88.35, Oklahoma routed the New York Mavericks 265.25-176.60 and the three teams will compete in the Ride-In Game for the final berth at the championship in Las Vegas. Other regular-season results added more shuffle to the board. The New York Mavericks upset the Nashville Stampede in another matchup. The Florida Freedom beat the Carolina Cowboys. The Texas Rattlers defeated the Arizona Ridge Riders. The Kansas City Outlaws topped the Missouri Thunder. Taken together, the results set the final championship path, with Austin and Nashville taking byes, Kansas City ending on a high note and the last playoff place still up for grabs.
