This year, the event celebrates its 44th undertaking, and Gannon Buh and Holyn Handley return as the pre-event odds favorites in their divisions. The duo is also defending champions at this venue and carries sublime form into the weekend. Schedule and How to Watch 2026 DGPT Kansas City Wide Open
DGPT returns to the city of Liberty for three days this weekend to contest the Kansas City Wide Open. Discs take flight from Friday, April 24, and play runs through to Sunday, April 26, in the late afternoon. As is customary, the FPO division is first off daily, with play starting at 9:30 am this week. The MPO class closes out the day’s proceedings across the event, starting at 3:00 pm CDT. DGPT Kansas City Wide Open Pre-Event Odds
MPO Event Winner Odds
MPO tournament favorite, Gannon Buhr, continues to play in a different league than his peers. Year after year, he shows up and wins consistently, and 2026 is no different. Five events into the year, and he’s already clinched three titles to open up a 258-point lead in the DGPT World Standings. His worst finishes are two second-place returns, which most players would take any day. Calvin Heimburg tees off as the second favorite at a distant +590, but he’s yet to deliver a win this year. However, he’s improved in every event this year and is fresh off a fourth-place run in Jonesboro.
Niklas Anttila deserves a look at +1099 after winning the opening major of the year. He backed it up with a sixth-place run last weekend and is showing immense improvement compared to his opening tournaments. Richard Wysocki is the only other player besides Anttila and Buhr to win this season. Consistency is one factor that counts against him, as he’s finished outside of the top 20 twice in his last three appearances.

The MPO DGPT World Standings leader, Ganon Buhr, offers a safer option for a top three, which is why his odds sit at -238. If Calvin Heimburg continues his trend of improving in every event, then he’s looking good to close out inside of the first three spots. But, we think there is more value with Richard Wysocki and Isaac Robinson, who both have two top threes in the bag this year. After last weekend’s runner-up return, Robinson has the upper hand. One name to keep an eye on is Anthony Barela. He has struggled to find his groove this year, but he did remind us of his capabilities when he grabbed third place in the Champions Cup.

She returns to familiar ground this weekend, after bagging the title here 12 months ago. Missy Gannon rejoins the tour after skipping the trip to Jonesboro. She’s yet to deliver her victorious form from 2025, settling for a best finish of tied for fourth. Last weekend’s winner is still underestimated by the markets, entering at +2363.
Henna Blomroos has only competed in three events this year. The Finn ended outside of the top 20 in her opening event, then bounced back with a runner-up in the Champions Cup and a win last weekend. Ohn Scoggins and Silva Saarinen complete the winners’ role of honor for 2026. Saarrinen starts this weekend fresh off a victory and a third place, while Scoggins’ only triumph came in the season opener.

Silva Saarrinen hasn’t competed in all the tournaments this year, but her record is still stellar. She arrives in Missouri with a pair of top threes in the last two weeks and is now third on the FPO DGPT World Standings. Ohn Scoggins starts with positive odds. She’s registered a 50% top three record this year in just four appearances. Over in the value pile is Henna Blomroos at +542 for a front three finish, a feat she’s executed twice in two weeks.

The MPO DGPT World Standings leader, Ganon Buhr, offers a safer option for a top three, which is why his odds sit at -238. If Calvin Heimburg continues his trend of improving in every event, then he’s looking good to close out inside of the first three spots. But, we think there is more value with Richard Wysocki and Isaac Robinson, who both have two top threes in the bag this year. After last weekend’s runner-up return, Robinson has the upper hand. One name to keep an eye on is Anthony Barela. He has struggled to find his groove this year, but he did remind us of his capabilities when he grabbed third place in the Champions Cup.

Isaac Robinson arrives in Liberty as a sleeper for a top-five run. He starts at +143, but has earned first five finishes in three of his last four outings. Niklas Anttila is hovering around the top-five mark. He won a fortnight ago, then just finished outside the top-five threshold in Jonesboro, but is worthy of consideration at +190. Another reasonably priced pick is Kyle Klein. He only has one top five behind this campaign, but he did close out his 2025 visit to this venue in fifth place.

The market is buzzing with sleepers in the MPO top 10 market, starting with Kyle Klein at +103. He’s registered three top 10’s this year in five events, including a tie for seventh last weekend. Aaron Gossage sits with longer odds than Klein, earning consecutive top 10s in the opening two rounds. Moving down the odds sheet, Joseph Anderson has caught our eye at +368. He tees with a pair of top 10s in only four appearances, but settled for a tie for 14th last time out. Lastly, Adam Hammes is a steal at +257, entering with four top 10s this year in five starts. He produced his best so far in Jonesboro, ending the week in third.

Holyn Handley still only has the one triumph in her bag this year, but she’s carded five consecutive top-three runs. Her consistency has been rewarded with a 144.67 point lead in the standings. She returns to familiar ground this weekend, after bagging the title here 12 months ago. Missy Gannon rejoins the tour after skipping the trip to Jonesboro. She’s yet to deliver her victorious form from 2025, settling for a best finish of tied for fourth. Last weekend’s winner is still underestimated by the markets, entering at +2363.
Henna Blomroos has only competed in three events this year. The Finn ended outside of the top 20 in her opening event, then bounced back with a runner-up in the Champions Cup and a win last weekend. Ohn Scoggins and Silva Saarinen complete the winners’ role of honor for 2026. Saarrinen starts this weekend fresh off a victory and a third place, while Scoggins’ only triumph came in the season opener.

She’s registered a 50% top three record this year in just four appearances. Over in the value pile is Henna Blomroos at +542 for a front three finish, a feat she’s executed twice in two weeks.

She has regularly found herself inside the top 10 this season, but another top five is still a long shot. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, Blomroos continues to ooze value for money, this time at +238. Lisa Fajkus kicked off her campaign with consecutive first five returns, but hasn’t backed it up since. That said, she joined a host of players who sat out last weekend and can hopefully find her top-five form again at +887. Finnish player Eveliina Salonen has posted better returns in every appearance this year. Last weekend, she capped off a strong weekend in Jonesboro with a fifth-place finish.

Three top tens in five events is an impressive return for a player considered an outsider. Catrina Allen starts the Kansas City Wide Open with a 60% top 10 record this year and odds of +277 to get the job done. Sticking with sleepers, Sintija Klezberga surprisingly starts at +793, despite consecutive first 10 finishes. The Latvian has only reported for three events this season, and two have led to top 10 performances.
