Schedule and How to Watch 2026 DGPT Northwest Championship
Reigning champs, Gannon Buhr and Holyn Handley, return to Portland, Oregon, this weekend to defend their Northwest Championship crowns. Four days of play are scheduled for the MPO and FPO brackets, as they test their skills at the Milo McIver and Glendoveer disc golf courses in the “City of Roses.” The ladies lead the field out every day from Thursday, June 4 to Sunday, June 7, starting at 9:30 am PDT. As always, the MPO bracket closes out play from 3:00 pm local time. You can enjoy every moment from out west, live on the Disc Golf Network.

MPO Event Winner Odds
Out of the 10 events in 2026, Gannon Buhr has teed off in nine of them. Of the events he’s played, he’s captured four titles and finished second on three occasions. He now leads the MPO DGPT World Standings by over 350 points. If his results haven’t impressed enough, his worst return all year is a tie for 7th. The favorite is chased by Richard Wysocki, who is a one-time winner this term, but he’s struggled in recent tournaments. Wysocki clinched the season opener, but has since ended outside the top 20 in 50% of the past six events.
The markets were finally rewarded for backing Calvin Heimburg when he won the BOATX. He’s featured up the odds sheet all season long, but finished 44.4% of his tournaments outside of the top 10. Heimburg’s antics have elevated him up the standings to become Buhr’s closest challenger. Speaking of one-time winners this year, Paul Ulibarri arrives as a longshot at +12721. The second favorite in this market, Richard Wysocki, catches our attention after registering three top threes so far. Tying Wysocki on three top threes is Isaac Robinson, who enters as the third favorite. Robinson has registered two top-three results in his ultimate five starts, highlighting his improving form. Consistency has proven a struggle for several contenders in the MPO bracket this year. One of those players is Anthony Barela. The Arizonan has found himself amongst the top five players in two events this year. However, he’s also fallen outside of the top 10 in 55.6% of his nine starts this term. Calvin Heimburg also enters the top five betting market with positive odds, boasting a 66.7% success rate in his previous six tournaments. The “Cheesehead” has reported for duty every weekend this year and racked up a 70% top-10 return in the process. Kyle Klein features for the first time since Barbasol, when he ended in a tie for third place. He’s racked up a 57.1% top-10 record this campaign, with three arriving in his previous five events. The second-ranked MPO player meets number four in the pick of our Northwest Championship matchups. Calvin Heimburg and Isaac Robinson have met on nine occasions this year, and they’ve both won four and tied once. Heimburg holds the edge in recent weeks, finishing ahead of Robinson in three out of the past four tournaments. In addition, Heimburg registered his maiden victory of the term in his last outing.

She’s fresh off her second title of the year and has now reclaimed her spot at the head of the DGPT FPO World Standings. Handley bounced back after a season’s worst finish of 14th place at the BOATX by winning last time out.
Another player who entered the winner’s circle recently is the second favorite, Silva Saarinen. She hasn’t finished lower than second in her last three starts, highlighting her reliable form. Her average sits at 4.0 across eight tournaments, after registering two victories across the campaign. Ohn Scoggins touches down in the Pacific Northwest as the winningest player in the FPO division. She is yet to finish beyond the top five this year, and has closed out her last five events inside the first three places.

Holyn Handley bounced back to form at the OTBO, but her perennial rival Ohn Scoggins beats her to the basket for our expert pick. Scoggins boasts the best finishing average in the FPO division this year at 2.33 and has only fallen outside of the top three twice this term. The sportsbooks have the Laotian at +269 for the win, offering a prospective payday of $73.80 for a $20.00 stake.

Despite zero top-three finishes this semester, Missy Gannon tees off in Oregon at +101 to get the job done. She’s come close twice, settling for fourth place in Missouri and at the Big Easy Open. She is worth a look after recording two top-threes in only five outings this season. Her latest one arrived in Austin, which was the last time she teed off in the DGPT. Closing out the top three contenders is the longshot, Heidi Laine. She earned her maiden top three of the term last weekend.

We looked at Valerie Mandujano for a top three, but her odds make her an interesting pick to finish among the first five. She is a two-time top-five performer and has missed the threshold in only three events. Carrying longer odds than Mandujano is Ella Hansen, who enters this weekend after consecutive top-five finishes. However, those are her only top-five results of the year.
Continuing with value picks, Kat Mertsch tees off at +330 in this market. She has three top-five finishes in the bag, and has appeared in all 10 DGPT events this campaign. Beyond the regular contenders, three sleepers have captured our attention. Rebecca Don, Kona Star Montgomery, and Heidi Laine travel to Portland after recording their first top-fives of 2026.

Lisa Fajkus stands out as a star pick in the top 10 betting market. She’s earned a first-10 finish in 55.6% of her nine appearances. Sticking with positive odds, Emily Weatherman has found her way onto our radar after four first-10 returns this year. Even more impressive is that three of them have come in her last three appearances, and she’s still priced at +351.
Kat Mertsch finds herself at +119 for a top 10 this weekend, despite her 40% return in 10 events.
