Odds for Event Winner W/O Hunter or Deegan
If we remove Hunter and Deegan from the equation, it opens up further value opportunities for bettors. Jorge Prado is the clear favorite in this contest, as he leads the Championship and won the final round of the Pro Motocross Championship in late August. The KTM racer settled for the final spot on the podium in the opening round of the playoffs and averages 2.4 across his last five combined appearances in MX and the SMX Playoffs.
Ken Roczen continued his consistent form a week ago, settling for second in the opening round. He has only finished off the podium in 20% of his last 10 rounds across all formats of the Championship, and is worth considering at +238. Cooper Webb stands at +514 to take this contest, after finishing third in Moto #2 last weekend, but consistency remains a challenge for the three-time Supercross Champion. He closed out his duties in Columbus in fourth overall, after a ninth-place return in Moto #1.

Odds for Event Winner
Haiden Deegan lines up as the round 2 playoffs pre-event favorite at +100, after winning his maiden round in the 450 class. While he proved that he has what it takes to win, the pressure is now on, as he has to show that he can back it up. The Yamaha rider has only finished ahead of his Australian rival twice this year, and last weekend was one of them.
Speaking of Australians, Hunter Lawrence’s stocks have slid after a tumultuous opening round. However, conditions look better for the visit to Dignity Health Sports Park, and we expect him to bounce back. The older Lawrence has prevailed 11 times across all SX and MX this season and won one playoff round in 2025. Ken Roczen is another tried-and-tested rider, carrying a 40% win record across his last 10 SX and SMX Playoff starts.

Expert Pick
The market has relegated Hunter Lawrence after round one, but we put it down to unfortunate conditions and bad luck. We believe he has the goods to bounce back in round two and take top honors at +199. Wagering $20.00 on the Honda rider stands to pay out $59.80.
Odds for a Podium
Jorge Prado has stood on the podium in four of his last five starts across all formats, but he still enters round two with positive odds. His worst finish since the Washougal weekend was fourth, and he has since found himself regularly among the top three finishers. Ken Roczen joins the Spaniard in offering bettors bang for buck, as he too has only missed one podium in his last five appearances across the SX and SMX Playoff legs. Roczen averages 2.2 across his last five outings in all formats, but enters the weekend at +168 for a top three.
Cooper Webb registered nine podiums in SX and MX this season, making him a top contender for a rostrum. He just missed out on the top three in the first playoff round, settling for fourth. His odds are longer because he struggled in the MX series, but he is a far stronger Supercross rider and can’t be discounted ahead of round two. Eli Tomac arrives in Los Angeles as an outsider for a podium after an injury hit Motocross season, but we can’t ignore his nine rostrums in the SX leg of the Championship, which included four trips inside of Victory Lane.

Top 5 Odds
The opening Playoffs weekend didn’t go according to plan for Eli Tomac, who sauntered home in 14th. However, he is far better than that and offers positive odds for a top-five finish in round two. Tomac finished inside the cut 11 times in the Supercross campaign and once in only six MX starts this year. One can’t ignore that he also finished third in every playoff leg in 2025.
Cooper Webb offers some value to bettors, despite wielding negative odds. He has racked up 14 top-five returns across all formats in 2026, including in the finals Motocross round and the opening SMX Playoff. Joey Savatgy enters California with long odds for a top-five finish, despite crossing the line in fifth last weekend. The result added to the Georgian’s four top-fives that he bagged during the Supercross season.

Winning Manufacturer Odds
Yamaha arrives in Los Angeles as the favored manufacturer to claim round two. However, the Georgia-based team has only won one round across all events in 2026, which was last weekend. Despite their lack of triumphs, the markets favor them to take top honors this Saturday. Honda starts the penultimate playoff leg as the winningest manufacturer this campaign, boasting a total of 15 victories in SX and MX this year.
Suzuki lines up at +624 to capture the checkered flag this round, carrying five wins under the bike in 2026. All of those were courtesy of Ken Roczen in the Supercross section of the series, and he finished strong in Ohio, claiming second place. Like Suzuki, KTM has also claimed five victories; four of those were by Eli Tomac in the early phase of the SX Championship, while Jorge Prado added one on the final weekend of the MX series in August.

Haiden Deegan and Hunter Lawrence face off in the pick of our second-round matchups. The 450 rookie is the favorite to topple the Australian after his opening-round dominance, but Lawrence has remained consistent throughout 2026.
