F1 Hungarian Grand Prix Odds

Event Winner Odds

The Papaya duo have barely put a foot wrong this season, accumulating 10 victories between them in 13 races. Oscar Piastri tops the count with six checkered flags, followed by Lando Norris on four. The Australian holds the added advantage of triumphing at this circuit 12 months ago, handing McLaren their first victory since 2012 at this track. Piastri lines up with a finishing average of 2.46 after completing every race this campaign. Norris has only missed the rostrum once in his previous eight starts, winning two of the last three events.

Charles Leclerc touches down in Mogyoród after securing his fourth top-three in his last six starts. He hasn’t looked like a threat to the McLaren drivers all season, but he’s starting to find the consistency that alluded him in the earlier part of the season. Two-time champion Hungarian GP champion Max Verstappen can’t be written off, with two victories under his seat this year. However, his car is still struggling with downforce and stability issues, along with a lack of pace on slicks. His conundrum makes it difficult to see him prevailing here, but he is the leading driver of his generation.

Podium Odds

The McLaren pilots have only missed spraying champagne twice this year. They own 22 podiums between them and are heavily favored to replicate their success here. Verstappen starts with short odds to stand on the platform, but he’s far from guaranteed a top-three performance. The Dutchman is in a tie with Charles Leclerc and George Russell on five podiums. Russell last participated in the post-race celebrations in Canada, while his Monegasque rival has featured in three in his last five appearances.

Nico Hulkenberg and Kimi Antonelli are the only other drivers in the field to cross the line in a podium place this term. The veteran doesn’t appear to have the car to consistently challenge the top three, while the Italian rookie has battled to get across the line. He enters off the back of two DNFs and a 16th-place return, highlighting his struggles post his maiden podium in Canada.

Odds for the Top 6

Eight-time Hungarian Grand Prix Champion Sir Lewis Hamilton returns to a venue where he’s podiumed seven times in his last nine visits. However, he’s yet to stand on the rostrum in 2025, but he’s proven to be a regular top-six finisher, with seven to his name. He just missed out on the feat last weekend, but he started 18th and moved up 11 places during the race, showing that he’s still got it.

Popular Williams driver Alexander Albon snatched his fourth first-six finish of the season in Belgium, making him an outsider, but a contender to pull it off this weekend. German veteran Nico Hulkenberg starts after earning two top sixes in his last five starts, including a podium at Silverstone.

Odds for a Top 10 Finish

The two oldest drivers in the field boast an impressive record of four top 10s in their last five starts. Fernando Alonso and Hulkenberg endured a tough Sunday in Belgium, dropping outside of the top 10, but the two have averaged below the threshold since Barcelona. On the opposite end of the age spectrum, we find two impressive rookies. Liam Lawson and Gabriel Bortoleto. They line up this weekend after crossing inside the top 10 twice in the previous three rounds.

Alpine had reason to smile at Spa, after Pierre Gasly handed the team only their 20th point of the season. Only the third weekend this year that the French team has collected units. The Grand Prix marked the third time in five races that Gasly crossed the line inside the top 10.

Fastest Qualifier Odds

Since 2015, only two drivers have won the Hungarian Grand Prix starting from pole. One of them is on the grid this weekend, in the form of Lewis Hamilton. However, the Ferrari driver doesn’t feature in the mix for the fastest qualifier race, which is instead dominated by McLaren. The Woking garage has put a driver at the front of the grid in eight out of the 12 races, and they seem too quick to rein in. Norris and Piastri are tied for the most poles in the Championship with four apiece, followed by “Mad Max” on three.

The British outfit sits on 516 points in the standings, ahead of Ferrari on 248, and they arrive as the defending champions at the Hungaroring. Odds for the Midfield Winner Race

As McLaren and their drivers dominate the year, attention has shifted to the battle for the heart of the midfield. Alexander Albon started the season strong, winning three of the first six contests, before dropping off and handing over the wheel to Nico Hulkenberg and Fernando Alonso. The Williams driver showed us in Belgium that he’s far from done, snatching his fourth top six of the year. The outcome also put him on top of the midfield race, giving him his fourth victory over his midfield rivals.

Veterans Hulkenberg and Alonso have each topped the race that excludes the big four teams twice in the last five rounds. Isack Hadjar has succeeded in this battle twice in 2025, while Gasly, Ocon, and Carlos Sainz each have one triumph to their name.
