Best Bets and Odds for MotoAmerica Mid-Ohio
Supersport Event Winner Odds
We have a new leader in the Supersport Championship coming into Mid-Ohio, with Mathew Scholtz now sitting on the top. The South African overtook P.J. Jacobsen, who has enjoyed most of the year in pole position, and is now leading by seven points coming into this round. The rider from Durban won both races in VIRginia and now has six triumphs under the bike, making him the winningest rider in the division.
Jacobsen has only entered Victory Lane twice this campaign, but he’s found himself on the podium after all but one race this year. He lines up after consecutive runner-ups behind Scholtz last time out. We’ve been impressed by Blake Davis as well recently, who’s collected four top threes, including two triumphs in his last five appearances.

Cameron Beaubier was the name on everybody’s lips in the earlier rounds of the season, after prevailing in three of his first five starts. To be fair, he’s stood on the rostrum in 10 out of his 13 races this year, but he’s slipped off the top of the leaderboard recently, after failing to win since the visit to Road Atlanta. Championship leader Josh Herrin has no shortage of victories to his name this year, racking up five to become the winningest rider in the class. However, the Californian arrives off the back of his worst result all season, a 14th-place return in race two at VIRginia.
Consistency hasn’t been a strong point for Bobby Fong throughout the campaign, but he’s coming right. The man lines up only five points behind Herrin in the series and is fresh off four consecutive triumphs. His record reads five runner-ups and four checkered flags in 13 appearances. One more triumph will draw Fong level with Herrin for the winningest rider in the class.

Bobby Fong is coming into his own late in the season, arriving off the back of four consecutive trips inside Victory Lane. He’s sitting second in the Championship and is looking comfortable on the bike. It’ll be a challenge to beat Herrin and Beaubier, but we think he can keep his winning run alive, given his current form. Fong lines up at a favorable +728, possibly paying $165.60 on a $20 bet.

King of the Baggers Event Winner Odds
The King of the Baggers category makes their first appearance in August after only contesting eight races this season. Troy Herfoss continues to top the odds, but he’s endured a lacklustre season, standing on the podium three times, and only once on the top step. Herfoss prevailed in the first race at Mid-Ohio last year, before finishing second to Kyle Wyman on the Sunday. Wyman arrives in sensational form, winning 75% of all KOTB races this year, and building a 76-point lead in the series.
Loris Baz arrives in Lexington as a long shot, despite a respectable season. The Frenchman is a four-time podiumist in 2025, securing one victory along the way. Despite his outsider odds, he’s the second-ranked rider in the Baggers division and starts after a second and fourth-place finish in the previous encounter at Monterey.
