King of the Baggers is back after sitting out the trip to Ridge Motorsports Park. Kyle Wyman is the rider to defeat in Laguna Seca after taking four wins in six races this year. His dominance is evidenced by his 56-point lead in the KotB Championship. His nearest challenger is Troy Herfoss, who stood on the top of the podium in the final race at Road America. However, Herfoss has fallen out of top three contention in 50% of his starts. His previous visit to Monterey wasn’t any better, failing to make the podium on both attempts.
