Matt Biolos’ Lost Surfboards stayed atop the Surfboard Empire CT Shaper Rankings after the Lexus Trestles Pro at Lower Trestles. DHD remained No. 2 overall after nine events, followed by Sharp Eye in third, JS in fourth and Channel Islands in fifth.

JS also strengthened its hold on second place in the men’s-only rankings after Miguel Pupo beat Kanoa Igarashi in an all-JS final. Biolos had five of the eight semifinalists on Mayhem boards: Erin Brooks, Gabriela Bryan, Sawyer Lindblad, Yago Dora and Cole Houshmand. He also had quarterfinalists Eden Walla and Carissa Moore.
Brooks wins again
The women’s final gave Lost another key result when Erin Brooks met fellow Lost rider Gabriela Bryan at Lower Trestles, and Brooks won her third straight CT event of the season. The next CT stop is the MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal, scheduled for October 16-25.
