BKFC eyes Page
BKFC president Dave Feldman wanted Michael “Venom” Page back in bare-knuckle boxing, but he was waiting for the UFC to formally confirm Page’s status before moving ahead. Feldman said the promotion would welcome Page back if the door opened. The interest came after Page, 39, finished his UFC deal with a unanimous-decision win over Nursulton Ruziboev at UFC Paris.
Page’s UFC status
A leaked email suggested the UFC would not offer Page a new contract, which put his next step in focus. Feldman did not treat that as the final word, leaving the possibility of a return unresolved until Page’s status was confirmed.
Perry fight mattered
Feldman pointed to Page’s 2022 fight with Mike Perry as an exciting bout, and he said many people thought Page won. Feldman also said BKFC would likely provide the kind of excitement that fit Page’s style. For now, a return remained dependent on Page’s UFC future, but BKFC had made its interest plain.
