Black’s Tire is back with Kaulig Racing for the Richmond Raceway weekend, and the company will be visible across both of the team’s Cup programs. It will serve as the primary sponsor of AJ Allmendinger’s No. 16 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series race and as the presenting sponsor of the Black’s Tire 250 Presented by BTS Rewards at Richmond Raceway. The Richmond stop extends the Black’s Tire and Kaulig Racing partnership into a fourth consecutive year, giving the company another chance to showcase its brand in a setting that reaches both the track and the audience at home. Black’s Tire president Ricky Benton II said the weekend will be a major event for employees and customers, underscoring how much the partnership means to the company beyond the race program itself. Down East Heating & Air will also appear as a partner on Allmendinger’s Chevrolet. USA will televise the Cup race at 7 p.m. ET, with MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio providing the radio coverage.

Allmendinger returns

Allmendinger said he was thrilled to have Black’s Tire back on the car and wants to turn that support into a strong Richmond run. He reached 500 Cup starts in June, then followed that milestone with an eighth-place finish at Iowa, which gave him his fourth top-10 result of the season. That kind of production gives Kaulig Racing a solid baseline as it heads into another short-track weekend. Allmendinger said Richmond has not always been one of his better tracks, but he pointed to the team’s short-track progress, better pit work and improved preparation as reasons it can contend there. Ty Dillon will bring another familiar sponsor look to Richmond, with his No. 10 Chevrolet set to carry BSF sponsorship for a second straight weekend. Dillon comes in after a 24th-place finish at Iowa, and he said Richmond is one of his favorite tracks. He also said NASCAR’s expanded 55-minute practice session should give the team more time to fine-tune its cars before qualifying. That extra track time matters at a place like Richmond, where small adjustments can shape how a car handles over long runs and how a driver feels about the balance before the race begins. For Dillon, the weekend offers both continuity and a chance to reset.
