Bobby Pierce won the World of Outlaws Late Model Series race at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa, and he did it in the first series event held at the track. The win gave Pierce a second straight victory at Adams County Speedway and kept his run through the 2026 World of Outlaws season rolling. It was his record-extending 20th series win of the year, his 62nd career World of Outlaws victory and his seventh in Iowa. Those numbers also moved him within 12 wins of Darrell Lanigan’s third-place total on the all-time World of Outlaws wins list. Lap 28 pass
The decisive move came on Lap 28. Pierce got by Nick Hoffman after Hoffman bobbled in Turn 4, and the pass changed the race. Pierce then led the final 18 laps and never gave the position back. The opening stage belonged to Hoffman, but the closing stage belonged to Pierce once the mistake opened the door. That made the move more than a routine lead change. Iowa finishers
Tim McCreadie delivered one of the strongest runs of the night, finishing second after starting 13th. Hoffman settled for third, Tyler Erb finished fourth and Ryan Gustin came home fifth. McCreadie’s climb gave the race a different shape behind Pierce, since he worked through the field while the rest of the top five stayed in range once the lead changed hands. Hoffman’s third-place finish kept him on the podium after leading early, and Erb and Gustin completed a front five that gave the event a clear finishing order. The World of Outlaws series now heads to Shelby County Speedway to close its Iowa swing. Pierce leaves the state with another win, another line in the series history book and a stronger grip on the 2026 victory total.
