Mosack Pole Run
Mosack grabbed the pole for the NASCAR Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway with a lap of 29.961 seconds at 180.234 mph, giving him the top starting spot in a 36-truck field. He put the fastest lap on the board in qualifying and set the pace for a lineup that featured several close times behind him. Tanner Gray earned the second starting position, Kaden Honeycutt took third, Rajah Caruth lined up fourth and Landen Lewis rounded out the top five.
Mosack’s effort stood out because it followed a strong showing in practice, where he was third fastest. He delivered the best lap of the session when it counted. Charlotte rewarded speed, and Mosack delivered the lap that mattered most. He now starts first with the best spot on the grid.
Charlotte Starting Order
The rest of the front end of the field took shape around Mosack’s lap, with Gray, Honeycutt, Caruth and Lewis filling the next four spots on the grid. That group gave the qualifying session a clear front-five order and set the tone for the 36-truck starting lineup. The full starting lineup completed the field for the race.
Charlotte also offered a second read on speed through practice, where Layne Riggs led the way with a lap of 30.132 seconds at 179.211 mph. Mosack again showed up near the top, this time third in the session, which backed up the speed he later turned into the pole. The practice chart and the qualifying results pointed to a tight group at the front, with Riggs fastest in one session and Mosack fastest when the lineup was set.
Practice Speed
Riggs’ practice-topping lap gave one picture of the weekend pace, and Mosack’s qualifying run gave another. The two speeds were close, and both came in under 30.2 seconds. That kept the focus on execution and consistency rather than a wide gap between the front-runners. For Mosack, the third-fastest practice lap and the pole-winning qualifying run showed a truck that had speed in more than one setting. For the rest of the field, the numbers offered a clear benchmark.
The race is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET on FOX and Fox One. With qualifying complete and the starting order set, Mosack goes into race day with the best spot on the grid and the strongest lap of the session. The speed chart had already shown that Charlotte could reward a quick truck, and qualifying confirmed that Mosack had one.
