Conor McGregor guarantees bare-knuckle boxing fight after UFC

NXTbets Pro | Published On: November 8, 2026

McGregor’s UFC future

Conor McGregor is already looking past the UFC and into his next combat-sports chapter. He said he may have “jumped the gun” by saying too much about what comes after his final Octagon fight, but he did not walk back the larger point. McGregor reiterated that it is a “guarantee” he will compete in bare-knuckle boxing once his UFC run ends. He made the comments at the BKFC 96 press conference in Scotland. The language was firm, and the message was clear. McGregor said the move will happen after he finishes his last UFC bout.

The bare-knuckle plan also came with big ambitions attached to it. McGregor said the event is meant to be “colossal,” and he wants it to draw the largest attendance in fight history. He also mentioned an aim for “two million fans,” a figure that underlines the scale he has in mind. McGregor did not present the bare-knuckle fight as a possibility. He framed it as a matter of timing, with the UFC still standing in the way.

That timing matters because McGregor still has one UFC fight left on his current contract before he can move to other options. His comments came after a return in July that ended in disappointing fashion, and that setback affected his stock. The UFC picture remains the immediate one, even as he talks openly about what comes next. McGregor’s latest remarks left little doubt about his intentions. He acknowledged that he may have revealed too much. The final Octagon fight comes first. The bare-knuckle bout comes after that.
