Freeway Insurance renews as Suárez’s Spire sponsor, adds Hocevar

NXTbets Pro | Published On: October 25, 2026

Freeway Insurance renewal

Freeway Insurance will remain Daniel Suárez’s anchor sponsor at Spire Motorsports, keeping its place on the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series. It also pushes the relationship beyond the primary car, since the agreement will expand Freeway Insurance’s involvement to additional NASCAR Truck Series races.

That broader reach gives the company a deeper role inside the Spire operation. For Spire, it keeps a sponsor attached to Suárez as the partnership continues. In a sport where sponsor relationships can change, the renewal gives the arrangement another season of continuity.

Suárez season

Suárez’s recent results include a win in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, along with three top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes over the season. Those numbers show a driver who has been able to run at the front on a consistent basis. He was 13th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings with three races left in the season.

Ryan Sparks will continue as Suárez’s crew chief, which keeps the driver-crew chief pairing intact. That matters because a stable combination can carry real value from one stretch of the schedule to the next. Suárez also said the partnership has lasted more than six years, a length of time that stands out in modern stock car racing. Long sponsor relationships are hard to sustain, and this one has stayed in place while Suárez has remained part of Spire’s Cup program. The combination of a win, multiple top-five finishes and a healthy top-10 total gives the team a clear base to build around.

Spire programs

Bill Anthony said Freeway Insurance’s support has grown across Spire Motorsports’ Cup, Truck, ARCA, dirt and Ascent programs, which turns the relationship into more than a single-car sponsorship. That wider presence gives the company a footprint throughout the organization and ties it to several layers of the team’s racing effort. It also shows how the partnership has evolved from a focused race-car deal into something with more reach across the Spire structure.

The sponsorship has also carried a community side. Anthony said the partnership has included community outreach, school visits, autograph sessions and other fan-engagement efforts aimed at Hispanic race fans. That element gives the deal a public-facing identity beyond the garage and the pit lane. It connects the sponsor and the team to fans in a direct way and gives Suárez a platform that reaches into communities well outside the racetrack.

The deal now adds Cup driver Carson Hocevar as a Freeway Insurance brand ambassador, giving the company another name in its NASCAR lineup. Hocevar joins a sponsor relationship that already includes Suárez and a broader slate of Spire programs. The result is a wider brand presence for Freeway Insurance and a stronger link to the organization’s racing footprint. It adds another driver to the mix as Spire continues to build around its core programs.
