Deegan won the ARCA Menards Series West Madera 150 at Madera Speedway in overtime and turned a late-race opening into her first series victory since 2019. The win came during the 53rd annual Mission Foods Harvest Classic and gave Deegan her fourth career ARCA Menards Series West triumph. It also ended a seven-year winless streak in NASCAR-sanctioned racing.

Deegan’s finish carried added weight because it pushed her to four of the five victories by female drivers in West Series history. She made the most of the final restart after a late caution set up a green-white-checkered finish, then slipped past Trevor Huddleston on the final lap to secure the win. Huddleston controls race

Huddleston set the tone early by winning the pole and leading most of the race. He stayed in front through much of the afternoon and looked in position to close out the victory before the late caution changed the picture. Deegan took advantage when it mattered most. She chased Huddleston into the final laps and made the race-winning move on the last circuit. Deegan reflects on comeback

She said she focused on taking advantage of the late-race chance and stayed ready when the opening arrived.

Deegan also credited Bill McAnally Racing for giving her a car that could contend all weekend. That confidence showed when the race tightened at the end and she had enough speed to make the final pass. She later apologized to teammate Mason Massey after contacting the rear of his car, saying the contact was unintentional because her brake pedal was soft.
