Husqvarna adds AEO Powersports, Toyota Redlands BarX to 2027 lineup

Husqvarna 250 Class expansion

Husqvarna Mobility is widening its 250 Class footprint for the 2027 SMX World Championship season, adding AEO Powersports Husqvarna Racing Team and Toyota Redlands BarX Husqvarna to a lineup that also includes Team Tedder’s 450 effort. The move gives Husqvarna three teams in its broader 2027 lineup. The 250 Class teams will race Husqvarna FC 250 motorcycles in AMA Supercross, AMA Pro Motocross and the SMX post-season. Husqvarna said the teams are scheduled to make their official debut at Anaheim 1, which marks the opening round of the season. The announcement adds to Husqvarna’s 2027 presence in the 250 Class while also including Team Tedder’s 450 effort.

AEO Powersports lineup

AEO Powersports Husqvarna Racing Team will bring a three-rider program into the season, and Carson Mumford is part of that lineup. AEO Powersports Husqvarna Racing Team will also expand into the WMX Championship during Pro Motocross. The move gives AEO a role across the 2027 program while keeping the 250 Class at the center of its effort.

Toyota Redlands BarX roster

Toyota Redlands BarX Husqvarna will field up to six riders across the 31-round SMX season, and Lux Turner is set to return for 2027. The team’s full roster will be announced later. Toyota Redlands BarX will combine its planned roster with Husqvarna’s FC 250 machinery across the 2027 season, from Supercross through the SMX post-season. Together with AEO Powersports and Team Tedder’s 450 effort, the program adds to Husqvarna’s 2027 lineup.
