Davenport Earns Record Ninth World Finals Win

NXTbets Pro | Published On: November 8, 2026

Davenport’s record win

Jonathan Davenport delivered the final punch of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series season on Saturday night, winning the 50-lap season finale at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and claiming a record ninth World Finals victory. The front-row start put him in position early, and he used it. Davenport moved to the lead in the opening phase and finished ahead of the field, turning a strong start into another World Finals win.

The win added another line to a résumé that already stood at the top of this event’s history. Davenport had nine World Finals victories, one more than anyone else had managed at the marquee weekend. He also reached 20 career World of Outlaws Late Model Series wins, tying Nick Hoffman and Brandon Overton for 13th on the all-time victory list. For Davenport, the night combined immediate success with a larger milestone.

Pierce’s championship finish

Bobby Pierce finished second behind Davenport, closing out his championship season with another strong run at the front of the field. The finish gave Pierce a clean ending to a season that already put him among the series’ elite. He left the World Finals in second place, a position that matched the overall shape of his championship campaign.

Pierce’s night mattered beyond the single result because he reached the checkered flag behind Davenport and secured second place in the race and the championship season. That pairing reflected the result of the finale and the conclusion of his year.

Murty’s career-best third

Dallon Murty completed the podium in third, and the rookie’s run stood out as a World of Outlaws career-best finish. He left the finale with the strongest result of his World of Outlaws career.

Murty’s third-place result also completed the podium behind Davenport and Pierce. A career-best third in the season finale gave Murty a result to build on as the year closed.
