NASCAR releases Martinsville qualifying orders for Cup, Truck and O’Reilly

NXTbets Pro | Published On: October 29, 2026

Martinsville weekend outlook

Martinsville Speedway is set to host the penultimate weekend of the 2026 NASCAR season. The track is NASCAR’s shortest at 0.526 miles. The weekend also marks the fourth of five straight tripleheader weekends to close the season. The Chase presented by Mobil 1 is entering its final two races across the Craftsman Truck, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Cup Series, which puts extra weight on every lap at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, Virginia. The three series will have practice, qualifying and race action spread across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Cup Series order

John Hunter Nemechek sits at the top of the Cup Series qualifying order, giving him the first look at Martinsville’s short-track rhythm before the field rolls into race weekend. Connor Zilisch and AJ Allmendinger follow immediately behind him, which places them in the early part of the lineup and sets up a quick path to the front of the order. At the other end of the list, Kyle Larson, William Byron and Denny Hamlin are among the last entries in the Cup Series qualifying order, so their first laps will come later in the session. That spread gives the Cup garage a clear picture of where the day begins, and it frames the work ahead as teams prepare for Saturday’s practice and qualifying sessions before Sunday’s race. The Cup Series race is scheduled for Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, the last of the weekend’s three events and the one that closes out Martinsville’s place in this late-season tripleheader run. The orders, like the rest of the weekend’s information, remain fluid, with starting lineups, pit stalls and stage results to be updated as available.

Truck and O’Reilly orders

Justin Carroll leads the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series qualifying order, with Dawson Cram and Patrick Emerling listed right behind him. That puts Carroll in a prominent spot for Saturday’s action and gives the series a clear early marker as the field heads into practice and qualifying. Carroll also appears near the front of the Truck Series order, where Tyler Tomassi, Carroll and Conner Jones are first in line. The Truck Series opens the weekend with Friday’s practice and qualifying, then returns for the race at 6 p.m. ET on FS1. The O’Reilly Auto Parts Series follows with its own Friday practice and qualifying before its race Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on The CW. Friday’s schedule keeps both series active from the start, and Saturday shifts the focus to Cup Series practice and qualifying before the premier series takes over Sunday. NASCAR’s release gives teams an early roadmap for the weekend, and the qualifying orders should continue to shape the starting lineups as Martinsville’s three-race schedule comes into focus.
