Haudenschild won at Sharon
Sheldon Haudenschild turned a 10th-place start into a victory at Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. He won the 30-lap World of Outlaws Sprint Car feature after making his move from deep in the field and taking the lead from Logan Schuchart on lap 25. Haudenschild won by nearly three seconds. David Gravel ran third, Garet Williamson finished fourth and Donny Schatz took fifth.
The win gave Haudenschild his 11th victory of 2026 and the 57th of his career. It also pulled him within one win of Jason Meyers for 17th on the all-time victories list. The Sharon triumph came in Ohio, where Haudenschild is a native.
Mansfield win set the tone
Haudenschild’s Sharon victory followed a win at Mansfield Speedway in Ohio, where he also won the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car feature. The World of Outlaws tour had not visited the track in 45 years. He took the lead from Nate Dussel on lap 18 and held off Schatz to secure the win. Schatz finished second, Carson Macedo was third, David Gravel took fourth and Emerson Axsom finished fifth.
The Mansfield result gave Haudenschild 10 victories and marked the first double-digit win year of his career. The win also pushed his career total to 56, one step away from the 57 he reached after Sharon. It was his second straight victory in Ohio.
