The National Lacrosse League takes the field for week five of the 2025-26 series, with the Halifax Thunderbirds vs Saskatchewan Rush earning our match of the weekend. Thunderbirds enter the weekend as one of two unbeaten teams in the standings, and are looking to take their unbeaten run to three for the year and leapfrog the Rochester Knighthawks to the head of the table. Players take the field from 6:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 27, and you can watch the tussle live on ESPN+.
MASL moves into the fifth week of action this weekend, starting with a clash between the Wave and the Blast. While the repeat of last week’s star fixture is sure to entertain, our attention is firmly on the second game of the matchday. The fourth-ranked St. Louis Ambush travels to the Cable Dahmer Arena to face the Kansas City Comets, with the visitors desperate to reign in the locals. The Comets lead the series after playing more matches than their peers, and have the added advantage of having beaten the Ambush last weekend. The teams meet on Saturday, December 27, at 7:05 p.m., coming to you live on CBS Sports Golazo Network.
