That’s why 70% of the companies on the 2025 grid sit within 50 miles of each other in the above location, but what about the remaining establishments? The Alpine F1 team is closely associated with France because it’s the sports car arm of Renault. However, their F1 operations are very much concentrated in Enstone near Chipping Norton. That name may ring a bell as it’s the location of Motorsport journalism legend, Jeremy Clarkson’s farm. Alpine is nicknamed “Team Enstone” because the location has watched the team change names five times since 1980.
Aston Martin - Silverstone, United Kingdom
Aston Martin is a historic motorcar brand in the United Kingdom, and they’re fittingly located next door to the Silverstone circuit. While many F1 teams can claim the UK Grand Prix as their own, it is technically Aston Martin’s, given their proximity to the famed venue.
Cadillac (Coming in 2026) - Silverstone, United Kingdom
It’s now confirmed that US fans will have a second team to support in 2026, in the form of Cadillac. However, just like Haas, the household brand will run its Formula 1 operations out of the United Kingdom. They’ve selected the county of Northamptonshire, only a 0.8-mile drive from the Aston Martin garage.
Ferrari - Maranello, Italy
The Pride of Italy keeps it simple. Ferrari maintains its operations at Maranello. They’ve remained on the same site since 1943, when Enzo moved the factory from Modena. Since then, legends like Fangio, Schumacher, Vettel, and Hamilton have reported for duty in the village.
Haas - Banbury, United Kingdom
Haas is among the most complicated teams on the topic of headquarters. They have three operations between North Carolina, Italy, and the United Kingdom, but the latter is where most of the F1 race team personnel functions. The team’s UK garage is located in Banbury, which is around 30 miles north of Oxford
McLaren - Woking, United Kingdom
The 2024 Constructor Champions, McLaren, are a proud British team, despite their founder hailing from New Zealand. They run their F1 endeavors out of Woking in north-west Surrey, 77 miles south of Silverstone. Sir Lewis Hamilton, who grew up just north of Woking, handed the Papayas their last Driver’s Championship back in 2008.
Mercedes - Brackley, United Kingdom
German-owned team Mercedes also believes that Motorsports Valley is the best location for an F1 operation. They’ve set up shop just under 15 minutes south-west of the Silverstone circuit, placing them closer to the British Grand Prix venue than McLaren and Williams, two traditional British motorsport outfits.
Red Bull Racing - Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
The famous Red Bull Racing is synonymous with Austria, the home nation of the parent brand. Despite their Central European heritage, the Formula 1 business is run from Milton Keynes in England. There garage is only a 30 minute drive south of Silverstone, highlighting its close proximity to Mercedes, Aston Martin, Alpine and Cadillac.
Racing Bulls - Faenze, Italy
Racing Bulls is owned by Austrian Conglomerate Red Bull, but the team has rich roots in Italy. The team now consisting of Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar was once called Minardi, Toro Rosso and AlphaTauri before becoming Racing Bulls. They are headquartered south of Bologna in the town of Faenze, and are one of two F1 teams operating out of the boot of Europe.
Sauber - Hinwil, Switzerland
Switzerland enjoy sole representation from Sauber, who are run their operations from Hinwil, just over 30 minutes south-east of Zurich. However, the team is undergoing changes and will operate as Audi in 2026. This change has prompted them to open a new technology center in Bicester, England, also located in Motorsport Valley.
