King of the Mountains
Tim Wellens moved a single point clear of his UAE Team Emirates colleague, Pogačar, on stage seven. The Belgian collected one scalp in the Mûr-de-Bretagne (1er passage sur la ligne d’arrivée) climb, enough to keep the jersey heading into Saturday’s proceedings.
Points Classification (Green Jersey)
Pogi starts stage 8 on Saturday as the green jersey holder, 34 points clear of second-placed Jonathan Milan. The Slovenian secured 50 points for claiming the stage victory, just ahead of his nemesis Jonas Vingegaard.
Youth Classification
There was no change at the top of the Youth Classification race as Evenepoel completed the stage 17 seconds ahead of Kevin Vauquelin.
Team Classification
Team Visma | Lease a Bike extended their lead to 05’33” over UAE Team Emirates on Friday, positioning them promisingly heading into week two of the spectacle.
