Alpecin–Deceuninck rider, Mathieu van der Poel, fought back today after losing the yellow jersey in yesterday’s time trial. He managed to get the better of Tadej Pogačar, and now leads the pre-race favorite by a single second. Remco Evenepoel remains in the hunt and is only 43 seconds shy of the leader.
King of the Mountains
UAE Team Emirates XRG continues their polka dot jersey dominance, as Tim Wellens recovers the lead from Pogačar. Wellens is now two points clear of his teammate and will don the jersey for the second time this tour.
Points Classification (Green Jersey)
Jonathan Milan moves back into the green jersey after handing it over to “Pogi” yesterday. The Italian rider now holds a four-point lead over second-placed Van der Poel, with Pogačar a further two points back.
Youth Classification
KévinVauquelin narrowed the gap on Remco Evenepoel in the youth classification, with only 17 seconds now separating the duo.. The gap is now down to 29 seconds, but the leader will wear the white jersey for a third consecutive day on Wednesday.
