Aaron Reutzel sweeps past Donny Schatz, leads every lap at Knoxville

Aaron Reutzel powered around polesitter Donny Schatz from the outside of the front row and never looked back, leading all 25 laps of the Stars & Stripes Salute World of Outlaws feature at Knoxville Raceway to collect $20,000. The Ridge and Sons Racing driver's win was his sixth in his last eight starts and his sixth of the month of May, pushing his 2026 earnings to nearly $200,000 and his monthly haul past six figures. It was also his eighth career World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series victory, tying him with Jimmy Sills and Cody Darrah for 56th on the series' all-time win list, while marking his 12th 410-class win at Knoxville and lifting his combined 410/360 total at the track to 28.

Schatz settled for second in the CJB Motorsports No. 15, his fourth podium of the 2026 season, with Rico Abreu third to extend his streak to five consecutive podium finishes. David Gravel and J.J. Hickle rounded out the top five. Austin McCarl originally crossed the line sixth but was later disqualified after losing a muffler. In the Randall Roofing 360 20-lap feature, Tasker Phillips took the win in the 3-Way Motorsports #1TAZ for his second straight Knoxville victory and his sixth career win at the track.
