With summer fast approaching, the DGPT brigade is winding down their commitments stateside before players hop the pond for the European season. This week, disc golfers return to Stockton for the OTB Open, after the event was replaced by the PDGA World Championships last year. Gannon Buhr and Holyn Handley lead the pre-event odds in their divisions, despite stumbling in recent tournaments. Ohn Scoggins provides the best value for money, arriving on an unbeaten winning streak. Discover the betting markets for this weekend’s event in our preview below.
DGPT organizers have concocted a highly competitive four-day event out west this weekend. Players set up shop in Stockton, California, from Thursday, May 21, to Sunday, May 24, for the OTB Open. As always, the FPO class is first out on the course every day from 9:30 am PDT, while the MPO bracket closes proceedings from 3:00 pm. Catch all four days of play at Swenson Park live on the Disc Golf Network, and catch the latest scores on the dedicated OTB event page.

Gannon Buhr heads to the West Coast as the favorite for top honors this week, but he hasn’t troubled the leaders in the last two weeks. Buhr settled for fourth at the KCWO before ending in a tie for seventh last weekend. Despite his recent form, punters are aware that he’s still a three-time winner this year, and tops the tour. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Paul Ulibarri arrives in Stockton at +12095 after securing his maiden DGPT victory at Barbasol. Ulibarri teed off last weekend at +49900, paying out $10,000 on a $20.00 wager. The result marked his first trip inside the top 10 all season, and elevated him 20 places in the standings to 18th.
Entering as the second favorite, Richard Wysocki continues his quest for consistency after a tie for 26th a week ago. He’s now ended 42.9% of all events outside of the top 20 this year. However, he won the season opener and has two runner-up finishes to his name. Another disc golfer battling for reliable results is the third favorite, Calvin Heimburg. He finds himself third on the DGPT MPO World Standings, despite three finishes outside of the top 10 this term. Heimburg is back at the venue where he clinched the title in 2024, but his form doesn’t suggest he can replicate the feat.

MPO Expert Pick
The MPO division for the OTB Open presents the most difficult choice for the expert pick all term. Gannon Buhr has faltered in recent weeks, but is still the winningest player on tour this year. Ezra Robinson caught our attention last week with a runner-up, but he’s battled for most of the campaign. Buhr’s finishing average of 2.57 is far superior to his peers, and based on that consistency, we’re giving him the benefit of the doubt for the OTB Open. He starts at +119, potentially paying out $43.80 on a $20.00 wager.
Top 3 Odds
Second-ranked Richard Wysocki tees off in Stockton with favorable odds for a top three. It’s a position he’s found himself in on three occasions this year, but his odds have lengthened after two top 20 finishes in his last three appearances. Enjoying better fortune is Isaac Robinson, who starts this event with a 50% top three return in his past four outings. He’s registered three in total across eight tournaments. Our top three hopefuls are capped off by Calvin Heimburg at +193. The Floridian has one in the bag this year, which he earned in the KCWO behind Cole Reddalen.

Top 5 Odds
After securing his third top five of the year, Sullivan Tipton stands out as a value pick this weekend. His record is highly consistent in 2026, with three fifth-place and three 12th-place returns in seven starts. Following Tipton on the odds sheet, Ezra Robinson sits at +352. He finished in a tie for second last weekend, his maiden top five of the term. On the more conservative side, Isaac Robinson enters the weekend at -102, with a 50% top five record in eight tournaments.

Top 10 Odds
In the last five weekends, Adam Hammes has closed out 80% of them inside the top 10. In addition, he’s only missed out on a top 10 finish in two tournaments all year. He’s our number one option for a top 10, teeing off at -101. On the value end of the odds sheet, Casey White is priced at +234, with three first ten finishes in his past five showings. Raven Newsom endured a tough run a week ago, ending in a tie for 57th. However, he’s found himself in the top 10 twice in his previous six tournaments.

FPO Event Winner Odds
Holyn Handley travels west as the favorite for the OTB, a position she’s accustomed to. While the markets still rally support for her, she’s fresh off her worst finish of the term, 14th place. The result removed her from the top spot in the FPO DGPT Standings, and she is now 12.33 points adrift of the new leader. Speaking of, Ohn Scoggins reigns supreme in the standings after clinching her third victory of the term last weekend. The Laotian eases into this week at +236, seeking to continue her unbeaten winning streak, currently sitting at two.
Silva Saarinen pulled off a solo second place in the last event, her best performance since her Champions Cup victory. She averages 4.83 across six appearances, and came close to top honors at the Barbasol, losing by a single shot. Ella Hansen enters the weekend at +2885 after a gruelling early portion of the season. She produced her best performance last week, finishing fifth, and returns to the venue where she captured the trophy in 2026.

FPO Expert Pick
Ohn Scoggins is a no-brainer for the FPO expert pick, leading with consecutive victories. and a 2.29 average. Her odds of +236 are also more favorable compared to Holyn Handley and Silva Saarinen. Wagering $20.00 on Scoggins to prevail could payout $67.20.
Top 3 Odds
After five top-three runs in seven starts, Ohn Scoggins and Holyn Handley begin this week with short odds to accomplish the mission in California. Silva Saarinen offers slight value at -144, after finishing three of the past five events in the top three. If you’re looking for longer options, Lisa Fajkus is worth considering, carrying two top threes into the OTB Open, one of them arrived in her last two events. Keep in mind that while we know she can compete with the best, she has recorded three finishes outside of the top 10 in her previous five tournaments.

We have yet to mention Missy Gannon, who has remained quiet so far this year for her standards. That said, she’s still piecing together a tidy campaign with a 50% top-five record in six events, at a 5.5 average. Looking at longshots, Lisa Fajkus is at the front of mind, with a 42.9% top five record this season. Ella Hansen produced her maiden top five of the term last weekend, but she’s a better option for a top 10 return here. Moving down to Kat Mertsch at +302, she’s fresh off her second top-5 of 2026, but, like Hansen, is more of a top-10 contender every week.

Exactly 11 FPO disc golfers tee off on Thursday with negative odds for a top 10. But value is still to be had. Starting with the ever-popular Lisa Fajkus at +124. She’s featured in the top 10 four times in seven appearances this year, boosting her bang for buck. Next, the 2026 QCC FPO Champion, Jessica Gurthie, is surprisingly priced at +198 for a top 10, after recording three in six outings. That said, she has failed to finish inside the top 20 in her past three attempts. On the shorter end of the odds sheet, Catrina Allen is a four-time top 10 finisher, averaging 11.5.

DGPT OTB Open Pre-Event Odds
MPO Event Winner Odds

MPO H2H Odds
Adam Hammes meets Anthony Barela in the pick of our MPO matchups, and the former starts as the underdog. Despite his longer odds, Hammes has gotten the better of Barela in five out of the seven events they’ve both appeared in. The sportsbooks have Hammes at +102 to topple the favorite, potentially paying $40.40 fo a $20.00 stake.

Top 5 Odds

Top 10 Odds
