Schedule and How to Watch the F1 Hungarian Grand Prix

The 2026 Formula 1 Championship moves on to its final race before the summer break this weekend at the Hungaroring. It’s a sprintless program in round 11, so two practice sessions are scheduled for Friday, 24 July, and one on July 25, before switching focus to qualifying on Saturday afternoon. The only points on offer this round are in the Grand Prix on Sunday, July 26, set for a 3:00 pm CEST start. Find out if the field can rein in the Italian teenager in Hungary, live on Apple TV.

F1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2026 Odds

Event Winner Odds

In only his second season in the sports premier division, Kimi Antonelli has set the Championship alight. The youngster has racked up a 60% win rate in the opening 10 Grands Prix on the calendar, missing the podium only twice. His antics have propelled him into a 45 point lead in the standings over Lewis Hamilton. The Ferrari pilot has registered one triumph and two runner-ups this season, averaging 3.0 in his previous five outings.

Staying with the Italian team, Charles Leclerc backed up his win at Silverstone with a runner-up in Belgium. He ran into some challenges between Miami and Austria, but has rebounded in the last two rounds, highlighting his ever-present threat. Rounding out our event winner hopefuls is one of only two drivers to win multiple races in 2026. George Russell has enjoyed his moments this season, registering two wins and three runner ups. However, the Mercedes senior earned his second DNF of the campaign last time out.

Expert Pick

With six wins and two podium places in 10 rounds, we are sticking with the tried and tested for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Kimi Antonelli is a tough driver to overtake this term, justifying his short pre-event odds of +160 to take the checkered flag. Wagering $20.00 on the wunderkind stands to payout $52.00.

Podium Odds

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton enters the podium odds on Polymarket in the negative, but he’s still got value to give. The Briton starts round 10 with three top threes in his trunk in his last five starts. He fell short last weekend, settling for fourth. Hamilton is followed by his colleague Charles Leclerc, who is on a two-race podium streak after missing the celebrations for five straight starts before that. Consistency has proved evasive for George Russell, which is why his rostrum odds have risen to +113. However, he’s registered top threes in 50% of his Sunday races this term, tied for the second most on the grid.

Max Verstappen is another racer who has battled to find the podium this season frequently. He’s only joined the champagne showers on three occasions this year, but two of them have come in the last three rounds. The only remaining noteworthy podium contenders are the “Papaya” duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. The pair each have two top threes to their name in 2026, and the latter returns to this track as the defending champion.

Fastest Lap

McLaren has remained largely quiet during their title defense year, with no wins to write home about. However, Lando Norris has given the Woking outfit something to celebrate, returning two DHL Fastest Lap Awards. His most recent arrived in Belgium, where he showed sublime pace in his efforts to close a gap of more than 10 seconds to Isack Hadjar. Norris failed to overtake Hadjar, but reduced the gap to only 0.7 seconds by the time they reached the checkered flag.

Only one other driver has joined Norris in the multi-fast lap club, and that’s Kimi Antonelli. The teen has stopped the clock fastest over one lap in 60% of the 10 races. Only two other drivers have collected the award in 2026, and they are both former World Champions. Max Verstappen showed the speed of his RB22 in the season opener at Melbourne, while Lewis Hamilton clinched the prize in Barcelona.

Pole Position Odds

It appears there are few things Kimi Antonelli can’t do, as the Championship leader tops the pole position odds market. The Mercedes youngster starts the Hungarian Grand Prix with six poles in the bank this term, with 60% arriving in the past five rounds. Antonelli is hunting his third consecutive pole position, and his team is looking to retain their 100% success rate leading into the summer break.

The only other driver to find himself at the front of the grid is Antonelli’s mentor, George Russell. He offers serious value at +669 to stop the clock fastest on Saturday, despite earning four poles throughout the campaign. He’s delivered three of his four fastest qualifying performances since Montreal. Max Verstappen challenged the Mercedes for front row dominance in Belgium, but had to settle for his third second-place start this term.
