Best Bets and Odds for MotoAmerica Barber Motorsports Park

Supersport Event Winner Odds

Supersport riders embark on their fourth race of the year on Saturday, and the odds suggest it’s a two-man race. Josh Herrin arrives in Birmingham as the favorite at +129, after two trips inside of Victory Lane this term. He bagged top honors in Daytona and backed it up with top honors in race two at Atlanta. Punters predict that Herrin’s closest challenge will come from rookie Darryn Binder. The South African’s luck has changed since his days in MotoGP, and he finds himself with a win and a runner-up in his first three MotoAmerica races. That puts his average at 2.33 in three starts.

Tyler Scott makes the trip south as the third favorite, offering value for money. He starts race one at +509, but is the only rider in the class to finish every race on the podium this year. Teenage sensation Kayla Yaakov has pieced together a tidy opening spell this term. She racked up a podium in Daytona and consecutive fourth-place finishes. Yaakov is now fourth in the standings. Closing out our list of contenders is Blake Davis at +841. He’s registered one podium this year, but found himself in the lower placings in two out of three appearances.

Expert Pick

Tyler Scott’s consistency and attractive odds piqued our attention, but not enough to ignore the leader’s brilliance so far. As a result, Josh Herrin wins the tussle for our expert pick at Barber. He carries a 66.7% season win record into Alabama, better than anyone on the grid. Sportsbooks have the favorite at +129, potentially paying out $45.80 for a $20.00 bet.

Supersport H2H Odds

The standout matchup in the Supersport category is undoubtedly the battle of the series leaders, Darryn Binder and Josh Herrin. However, Herrin is rightfully the favorite after beating Binder in two out of three races. That is why we’ve turned our attention to the midfield battle that puts Dominic Doyle against Josh Hayes. Doyle is priced as the underdog at -104, despite crossing the line ahead of his rival in every race this year. He is also sitting in six on the standings, five spots ahead of Hayes.

Superbike Event Winner Odds

The South African conquest continues in the MotoAmerica Superbike class in the form of Mathew Scholtz. He debuted on a superbike in April, entering Victory Lane in his opening race and earning a runner-up in race two at Atlanta. Scholtz has upgraded to the more powerful bike after winning consecutive Supersport titles. Bobby Fong joined Scholtz in the winners’ circle after taking top honors in the second race on opening weekend. The triumph boosted his confidence after he copped a DNF in the first race.

Cameron Beaubier started the season strong with a runner-up in the opening race, before settling for fifth the following day. He lines up for race one at Barber as the second favorite, but his odds might be short for this field. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Sean Dylan Kelly, who arrives in Alabama in second place in the Championship. He earned consecutive runner-ups in Georgia, but is priced favorably for round two at +968 for the win. We’ll end the event winner odds market with positive news, as P.J. Jacobsen is fit for duty after crashing out in qualifying on the opening weekend.

Expert Pick

The Durbanite, Mathew Scholtz, served us well as our expert pick for the Supersport series in 2025, and we’re backing him again. He enters race one in Alabama with a 1.5 finishing average in two starts, and is priced at +133 to snatch the checkered flag. Wagering $20.00 on the South African stands to potentially payout $46.60.

Superbike H2H Odds

The winner of the second race in Atlanta, Bobby Fong, takes on Sean Dylan Kelly in our pick of the race one matchups. Fong earns the favor of the market at -145, but Kelly deserves a look at +109. The latter starts the Barber weekend with a 2.0 finishing average, and he crossed the line ahead of Fong in race one a month ago. The favorite failed to cross the line in race one, but beat Kelly to the line in the second race.

Futures Odds

Supersport

Josh Herrin leads the betting in the Supersport futures department and is top of the standings after three rounds. He’s collected 61 points in that period, thanks to two victories. His nearest challenge has so far come from “Divebomb” Binder, who finds himself three points adrift. Trailing Binder is Tyler Scott on 56 points, after returning rostrums in all three Supersport races in 2026.

Superbikes

Back-to-back Supersport Champion Mathew Scholtz is having no issue fitting into the Superbike class. He rode away from Atlanta with 45 points to grab a nine-unit lead over Sean Dylan Kelly. There are also nine points separating Kelly from Cameron Beaubier, who is sitting on 27 points after the opening weekend. Bobby Fong is two points behind Beaubier after failing to score a point in the first race in Atlanta. Now would be a good time to consider Fong, as he’s priced at +684 for the title.
