Best Bets and Picks for SLS Chicago
The Favorite Picks and Bets for SLS Chicago 2023
The favorite to win overall at SLS Chicago is currently Gustavo Ribeiro (+220). Coming off of last year’s overall title, Gustavo will be gunning for that top spot in order to defend his title. Right on his heels, is, of course, Nyjah Huston. With four total SLS titles under his belt, Nyjah is arguably the top competitive street skater in the world, so don’t count him out this season.
Outsider Bets for SLS Chicago 2023
The best part about skateboarding is that on any day, it’s anyone’s game.
We’d say to keep an eye on a couple of skaters. Yuto Horigome (+620) is obviously a force to be reckoned with, as the reigning street gold medalist.
If you want a real outside bet, check out Aurelien Giraud (+2200). With a fairly consistent and smooth approach, he’s podiumed at multiple Dew Tours and World Cups in recent years.
Expert Pick for SLS Chicago 2023
Both Nyjah and Yuto are coming off a heavy season, but if we had to choose, we’d go with Yuto (+620). His style, consistency, and trick selection are hard to beat.
We’ll be looking for him to come out strong in the first event of the season!
