BKFC sets Stewart-Duran rematch for Bruise Cruise main event

NXTbets Pro | Published On: October 20, 2026

BKFC main event

BKFC has set Kai Stewart against Bryan Duran as the main event for its BKFSea Bruise Cruise, putting the undisputed BKFC World Featherweight Championship at the center of the promotion’s event. Stewart will defend his title for a record sixth time, and the matchup is being billed as a rivalry rematch. That gives the card a clear headline fight and a familiar championship storyline as BKFC builds the event around the title bout.

Stewart’s title defense anchors a cruise card that blends combat sports with a destination setting. The fight will unfold aboard the Norwegian Jewel as the trip travels from Miami to the Bahamas, giving the promotion a moving venue for the card. The main event also gives the entire cruise a competitive edge, with a title bout that sits at the top of a card designed to keep fans engaged throughout the voyage. Duran gets the opportunity to challenge for the belt in a matchup that has been framed around a rematch, while Stewart prepares for a sixth defense.

BKFC undercard

The undercard adds depth to the night with a slate of announced matchups that fill out most of the nine-fight lineup. George Thorpe will face Josh Kuhne, Nathan Rivera will meet Brandon Meneses, Julio Perez will take on Gabriel Mota, Joey Gambino will battle Matt Denning, Steve Townsel will fight Brady Meister and Gustavo Balart will square off with Justyn Martinez. The list gives the card a wide range of matchups beneath the main event and shows how BKFC plans to spread the action across the full show.

Two spots on the card still need opponents. BKFC said matchups are still to be announced for welterweight fighter Famez and lightweight Cole Ferrell. That leaves the event with a mostly complete lineup, but one that still has room for more additions. The announced bouts already give the card structure and balance, and the remaining openings suggest BKFC is still building out the final details. Even so, the promotion has enough on the books to show how the night will unfold, with the Stewart-Duran title fight leading a lineup of six confirmed pairings and two more bouts waiting to be finalized.

BKFC cruise experience

The Bruise Cruise will offer more than fights. BKFC said the trip will include fan events, meet-and-greets, a private Nassau event and a $50,000 poker tournament hosted by Rainbet. Those additions turn the card into a broader experience that mixes live combat sports with planned events for fans on board. The setup gives the cruise a different feel from a standard fight show, with the action inside the ring paired with entertainment away from it.

BKFC+ will stream the full nine-fight card live internationally for $7.99 per month. That brings the event to a wider audience and matches the promotion’s goal of making the cruise a full-scale showcase, not just a single fight card at sea. The streaming option also extends the reach of the lineup beyond the ship, giving fans who are not on board a way to follow the entire show. Between the title fight, the undercard and the extra fan programming, BKFC has packaged the Bruise Cruise as a destination event built around the featherweight championship and a full slate of supporting action.
