Corey Day won Friday’s Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing feature at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, California, and did it by taking the lead in the opening six laps of the A-Main. Day moved from third to first and never let the opportunity slip away. The victory gave him his fourth career win at Thunderbowl Raceway and his second straight High Limit win at the track.

The Thunderbowl result was Day’s 15th career High Limit win, a mark that moved him into a tie with Kyle Larson for third on the High Limit Racing all-time wins list. Day has put together a steady run at Thunderbowl Raceway, and this latest result added another layer to his record there. The win also kept him among the main forces on the High Limit circuit.
Reutzel holds lead
Landon Brooks finished second, with Aaron Reutzel third. Tyler Courtney and Chance Grasty completed the top five. Reutzel left the event with his championship lead stretched to 65 points over Giovanni Scelzi, giving him more room at the top of the standings after another solid run.
