FloSports deal expands
FloSports and the National Lacrosse League have agreed to a multiyear media partnership that makes FloSports the exclusive global streaming home of the NLL. The deal starts with the league’s 40th anniversary season in November and gives FloSports a broad package of live league coverage. That includes the regular season, postseason and marquee events, along with previews, highlights, recaps and wrap-ups. FloSports also said the partnership fits into a wider live-sports catalog that already includes more than 55,000 annual live events across more than 25 sports.
FloLacrosse channel launches
FloSports will launch FloLacrosse on Nov. 5, and the new channel will serve as the company’s first new channel since FloCollege launched in 2024. The launch gives the NLL a dedicated home inside FloSports’ ecosystem and adds room for more box lacrosse and collegiate lacrosse alongside the pro league’s core schedule. Subscribers to FloLacrosse will also get access to the wider FloSports platform, which extends the value of the new channel beyond one league. FloSports is pairing the launch with integrated marketing support and presenting sponsorship of recurring in-game highlights, a sign that the relationship goes beyond simple streaming rights and reaches into promotion around the broadcast package itself.
NLL distribution mix
The NLL keeps multiple distribution paths under the new agreement, with FloSports Channel carrying the league’s Saturday Showcase game of the week and the 2027 NLL Finals. FloSports Channel is available on Prime Video, YouTube and LG Channels, which widens the reach of those events beyond the core subscription stream. TSN will remain the NLL’s Canadian linear partner and will carry a game of the week plus playoff coverage, so the league continues to split its exposure between streaming and traditional television in Canada. The NLL also still has the option of a future U.S. linear TV deal, leaving the door open for another broadcast layer if the league chooses to add one later. The setup gives the NLL flexibility. FloSports controls the global streaming home and the new lacrosse channel. FloSports Channel extends selected games and the finals to broader platforms that fans already use. The result is a layered media plan built around reach, recurring visibility and a steady flow of programming across the season and postseason.
