Honeycutt won Kansas

Kaden Honeycutt won the weather-delayed NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race to Stop Suicide 200 at Kansas Speedway. He swept both stages, led 111 of the race’s 134 laps and beat Christian Eckes to the finish by 1.358 seconds. It was Honeycutt’s third win of the 2026 season and put him in control of the race and the points race that followed.

Honeycutt said the result came down to execution across the board. His team, he said, “just executed all night.” The sweep of both stages put him in control before the final run began, and the 111 laps he led helped him hold off Eckes. Rain halted Kansas

The race still took patience. Intermittent rain forced a red flag that lasted four hours and 47 minutes, turning the Truck Series event into a long night at Kansas Speedway. The delay changed the flow of the race, but Honeycutt stayed in front when the action resumed.

Eckes held second at the finish, Brent Crews finished third, Daniel Hemric finished fourth and Ben Rhodes finished fifth.

Honeycutt led standings

The win also gave Honeycutt a 37-point lead over Layne Riggs in the Truck Series standings. Five races remained in the season after the event. Riggs, who entered the night as one of the drivers chasing him in the standings, finished 19th after late-race trouble.

With five races left, every point carries weight. He won, he swept, and he left with the points lead.
