Pavones crocodile sighting
A crocodile estimated at about six feet long was seen in the lineup at Pavones, Costa Rica, while the surf was mostly empty. Costa Rica has had prior crocodile-related incidents, including a serious injury in Tamarindo and a contest delay in Esterillo Este. X Games League schedule
The X Games League unveiled its inaugural winter schedule with stops in Aspen, Calgary and Ruka. The league also named its four franchises, XC Golden State, XC New York, XC Park City and XC Whistler, while more than 100 athletes have been approved and only 40 will make the teams. The roster draft is set, adding another step before competition begins.
