Springfield Mile adds dedicated weekend for Bettenhausen 100, Allen Crowe Memorial 100

NXTbets Pro | Published On: October 15, 2026

Springfield Mile weekend

Track Enterprises is shifting the Bettenhausen 100 and the Allen Crowe Memorial 100 to a dedicated weekend at Springfield Mile, giving the two races their own stage at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. The move puts both events together on a dedicated weekend. The USAC Silver Crown Championship will headline Saturday’s Bettenhausen 100, while the ARCA Menards Series will run Sunday’s Allen Crowe Memorial 100.

Officials said the new format will avoid extra fair admission charges and extra parking charges. They said it will also improve access to the fairgrounds. Infield camping will return under the new setup. Additional divisions and schedules will be announced later.

Race lineup details

The two-day program gives each series a separate day, creating a clear split between Saturday and Sunday.

The eventual supporting card remains to be determined, with additional divisions and schedules still to be announced.

Ticket sales will go through Track Enterprises, the State Fair box office and Ticketmaster.

Du Quoin schedule

The Springfield change does not alter the traditional Labor Day placement of the Du Quoin Mile weekend. That event will stay on its customary holiday schedule, preserving a long-standing date on the racing calendar while Springfield gets its own dedicated two-day setup. The separation leaves the two Mile events with different roles. Springfield gets the standalone weekend, while Du Quoin remains where fans have expected to find it during Labor Day weekend.

That distinction gives the two Illinois Mile events different calendar positions. Springfield’s event will center on the standalone weekend model, while Du Quoin will continue tied to Labor Day and remain untouched by the Springfield adjustment.
