Official Broadcasters & Streaming by Region

The official Supercross broadcasters and streaming service providers vary depending on the location. Below is a breakdown of the stations and platforms with the broadcasting and streaming rights in your region:

United States

NBC Sports and USA Network are the official broadcasters of the 2025 AMA Monster Supercross. Streaming services are provided through Peacock and NBC Sports digital platforms. Both these options provide coverage in English, with a Spanish option available on the Telemundo Deportes YouTube channel. Fans unable to watch the races can access audio simulcast for some races on SiriusXM satellite radio through the NBC Sports Audio Channel 85. For the FIM World Supercross Championship, FS1 and FS2 have the official broadcaster rights.

Canada

In Canada, there is no official TV broadcaster for the AMA Monster Supercross Championship. Streaming services are provided by SuperMotocross Video Pass in English, Spanish, and French. REV TV is the official broadcaster of the FIM World Supercross Championship.

UK and Ireland

The only option for watching the 2025 AMA Monster Supercross Championship is through the SuperMotocross Video Pass since no sports channels have broadcasting rights. For the FIM World Supercross Championship, check out the Aurora Media Worldwide platform.

Europe (Major Markets)

Just like in the UK & Ireland, there are no official TV broadcasters for the Monster AMA Supercross Championship. Access to the action is through the SuperMotocross Video Pass. DAZN and Aurora Media Worldwide offer the FIM World Supercross Championship action.

Australia & New Zealand

Access to the AMA Monster Supercross is through the SuperMotocross Video Pass. For FIM World Supercross, FOX Sports Australia, Kayo Sports, and Sky New Zealand are your go-to.

Latin America

The SuperMotocross Video Pass provides AMA Monster supercross action with play-by-play Spanish commentary. Unfortunately, the service currently lacks a Portuguese audio option.

Asia (Japan, Indonesia & SEA), India

The Monster AMA Supercross Championship can be accessed through the SuperMotocross Video Pass, while SPOTV has the official broadcasting rights for the FIM World Supercross Championship in Southeast Asia. In India, there is another competition: the CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League, whose official broadcaster is Viacom 18 and can be streamed through the JioCinema app and the Sports18 network.

Africa & Middle East

The FIM World Supercross events can be accessed on either StarTimes or SuperSport apps in Africa and on SSC via MBC Play in the Middle East. For both regions, AMA Monster Supercross content is accessed through the SuperMotorcross Video Pass. SSC provides alternative commentary in Arabic, whereas the Video Pass has French and Spanish options.

Live vs On-Demand vs Highlights

For some fans, the adrenaline of live action is more appealing than watching replays, while others prefer watching highlights. But what creates the difference in preference? Read on to find out.

Live Streams

Live streams offer unmatched access to the adrenaline-fueled action of the races in real time. They cover the entire event window, from pre-race shows, qualifiers, and the main events.

Full Replays & Condensed Replays

Replays are a great way to relive the race experience. For bettors and avid fans, they present an opportunity to analyze the race deeply, focusing on the rider techniques and strategic decisions made during the race.

Typically, most replays are posted an hour after the end of a race. On some platforms, they contain ads, which can be avoided by subscribing to the platform’s ad-free packages.

Highlights & Social Clips

Highlights are perfect for those who don’t have enough time to watch a whole race and those who wish only to watch the best, action-packed moments. On the other hand, social clips are a great way of promoting races and events. You can access most highlights and short clips through the following official accounts:

  • YouTube – Monster Energy Supercross (@supercrossLive) and World Supercross Championship (@FIMWSX)
  • X (formerly Twitter) – Supercross LIVE! (@SupercrossLIVE) and FIM World Supercross Championship (@FIMWSX)
  • Instagram – supercrosslive (@supercrosslive) and FIM World Supercross Championship (@fimwsx)
  • TikTok – SupercrossLIVE (@supercrossliveofficial) and FIM WSX (@fimwsx)

Devices & How to Watch on Your TV

You can access Supercross streams across TVs, mobile phones, tablets, and computers. But what works best on each device?

Mobile and Tablet

Peacock and SuperMotocross Video Pass apps are available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The SuperMotocross Video Pass app can only be supported by a tablet or mobile phone with iOS 13.0 or later, or a minimum of Android 7.0. The Peacock app requires iOS 15.0 or later, or a minimum of Android 7.1. These minimum operating systems may change depending on the apps’ updates.

Smart TVs and Streaming Sticks

You can access the Peacock and the SuperMotocross Video Pass on most smart TVs, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku & Samsung TV platforms. If you are unable to download the apps on your TV, worry less – you can opt for a streaming stick or cast from your mobile device or laptop.

Casting may lead to a reduced quality output on your TV. In contrast, a streaming stick ensures high-quality 4K and HDR, with the added advantage of a long-range WiFi receiver to ensure a strong and stable connection.

Chromecast/AirPlay/Native Casting

While Chromecast serves Android users, AirPlay ensures Mac and iOS users are not left behind. The following steps will help you stream Supercross content from a Chromecast/AirPlay-enabled device and smart TV:

  • Chromecast
  • Select a video from your streaming app or via the browser on your device.
  • If you are using the app, select the cast button.
  • On the Chrome browser, click the three dots in the corner, then click Cast, save, and share > Cast.
  • From the pop-up list, select your Chromecast to stream on your smart TV.
  • AirPlay
  • Open the streaming app or log in to your account on a browser and queue up the content you want to stream.
  • On Mac, click the AirPlay icon in the menu bar and select your smart TV
  • Click on play to start the stream and use the AirPlay drop-down menu to adjust the display.

Desktop/Laptop

Peacock and SuperMotocross streaming platforms are available on all modern desktop browsers like Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox. Be wary of using ad-blockers when streaming, as they may violate the terms of service of some platforms. Even though you may not be banned from the platform for using an ad-blocker, you may experience continuous interrupted viewing and affected playback until the ad blocker is disabled. To enjoy the action on a bigger screen, connect your laptop to a TV using an HDMI cable.

Supercross App & Platform Features

Event Hubs, Start Lists & Timing

Event hubs for seeing the whole race order, gate assignments, and practice/qualifying time sheets are beneficial for fans and bettors who track such details. Unfortunately, the official streaming apps do not have these features, which can be accessed from the official supercross website or the SMX Live Timing & Scoring app.

Multi-View/Multicam & Data Overlays

While the SuperMotocross Video Pass app offers a multi-camera option for live races, the Peacock streams do not typically have a built-in multicam viewing option.

Neither the Peacock nor the SuperMotocross Video Pass apps have data overlays during the race. Only the rider’s position may be visible. The live race data, like live timing, rider intervals, and track maps, are offered on the SMX Live Timing & Scoring App and the FELD app.

Alerts & Personalization

Neither the Peacock app nor the SuperMotocross Video Pass App has a feature for setting alerts or notifications. You can use the SMX Live Timing & Scoring app to get relevant alerts and notifications.

Qualifying & Press Day Content

The Peacock and the SuperMotocross Video Pass apps showcase every practice and qualifying session, and an analysis show for all the Supercross rounds. Some press conferences may be aired on the streaming platforms, with the full pressers available on the official Supercross or teams’ YouTube channels.

Costs, Free Options & Promotions

The subscription costs for the streaming platforms vary depending on the packages that they offer – the more features in a package, the higher the price. Sometimes, you can access the platforms freely or get offers on packages.

Free Tiers and Trials

The SuperMotocross Video Pass app offers a free trial for a limited period, after which you are billed. Part of signing up for the free trial is agreeing to be charged for the full subscription unless a cancellation is made before the billing date. After the billing date, cancellation will be according to the standard cancellation policies of the app. Unfortunately, the Peacock app does not have a free trial. The streaming platforms reserve the right to offer free streaming for certain rounds of the Supercross season – watch out for their announcements through their websites.

Paid Plans

Whereas the SuperMotocross Video Pass app only offers one package that requires a yearly subscription of $160, Peacock provides three packages:

  • Peacock Select costs $8 a month and $80 per year. It only exists for current Peacock subscribers. It does not offer live Supercross content.
  • The Premium package costs $11 per month with a yearly subscription fee set at $110. It offers live and on-demand Supercross content but has ads.
  • The Premium Plus option goes for $17 a month or $170 a year. It offers live and on-demand Supercross content free of ads.

Peacock allows you to simultaneously stream on three devices, while the SuperMotocross Video Pass app only permits one device at a time.

Generally, no refunds or credits are issued when you cancel your subscription before it ends, although you retain access to the Supercross content until the end of your billing period.

Student/Bundle Deals

Peacock subscription comes as a sports and entertainment bundle – offering various sports content and movies. Check out the official Peacock website for any offers. Although SuperMotocross Video Pass does not provide other sports or movies, it usually has offers of up to 80% off its subscription, typically displayed as a pop-up message when you visit the platform’s website.

Schedule & Time Zones

It is essential that you know the Supercross season schedule and event times so you never miss out on the action.

Season Calendar Overview

The Supercross season usually consists of 17 races that run from January through May. The race schedules are generally provided in advance on the official Supercross website before the season starts.

Local vs UTC vs Viewer Time

The race times are usually indicated in Eastern Standard Time or Coordinated Universal Time. If you are in a different location from the US, convert the time to the corresponding time in your time zone and set a reminder on your phone to stay up to date with the race times.

Rain Delays & Schedule Slippage

Adverse weather conditions like intense rainfall or lightning may lead to a delay in a race, as was the case in East Rutherford in 2023. The delay is considered a safety protocol, and the race can only be resumed once the officials are satisfied that there is no threat posed to the riders. The official streaming platforms normally readjust their streaming schedule so that they continue showcasing the race after the delay.

International Travel, Geo-Restrictions & VPNs

Traveling out of your country may lead to a loss of access to your streaming platform. Always confirm the options available to you when you travel abroad.

Rights by Country & Account Portability

Broadcasting rights are territory-specific – they vary from country to country. Most streaming platforms detect location changes and may block access when you travel abroad. Geo restriction is usually communicated as error code 403. Some platforms are available in multiple regions, like the SuperMotocross Video Pass

VPN Considerations

VPNs help to bypass geo-restrictions, giving you access to streams that are not available in your region. Ensure that the laws in the country you are in allow for the use of a VPN before you use it.

Troubleshooting & Stream Quality

Streaming is at times interrupted by various issues. Below are some of the common problems you may encounter and how to solve them:

Buffering/Pixelation

Constant buffering and changes in video quality are generally due to a weak or interrupted internet connection. When you face this problem, start by ensuring your internet connection is strong and stable. If the problem persists, reduce the video quality of the feed or restart your device.

Delay vs “Live”

When streaming, there may be a delay in relaying the live video onto your device due to latency issues. To reduce the delay, update your device’s software, close background applications, and then connect it to a wired internet connection.

Audio/Commentary Issues

When switching between language feeds, audio sync issues may arise – the audio not matching the actions in the video feed. To avoid such issues, ensure your device’s audio and video drivers are up to date. If the problem occurs, manually match the alternate commentary with the video using the audio delay/adjustment feature of your streaming platform and turn off any extra audio processing, like enhanced audio modes.

Watch Like a Pro (and Bettor)

Avid Supercross fans and bettors enhance their viewing experience by making specific setup tweaks that help them see more, learn a lot, and react faster. Here is how to ensure you watch like a pro:

Multi-Screen Setups

To enjoy the thrill of the race whilst keeping tabs with the race stats like the lap intervals and splits in real time, use the TV to broadcast the race itself and your phone/tablet for live timing and results.

Spoiler Control

For on-demand content or replays, use spoiler-free streaming platforms and turn off the push notifications to avoid spoilers and enjoy the same thrill as watching the races live.

Note-Taking & Heat Cards

Smart bettors and avid fans keep track of race details that inform their predictions by keeping a heat card template for recording holeshots, whoop speed, and rider stats, among other information.
