Best Bets & Odds for Supercross Houston
Odds for the Event Winner
We have a tie at the top of the odds table with Eli Tomac and Chase Sexton arriving as +130 pre-event favorites. Sexton is on a high after bagging his maiden triumph of the campaign in Anaheim last weekend, and he’s now improved in every race, after starting the season with an eighth and fourth place finish respectively.
Tomac endured his worst performance of the year so far at Angel Stadium, still finishing third. The standings leader averages 1.67 across three rounds with two victories and a rostrum. Flying the Australian flag, Hunter Lawrence backed up his San Diego podium with another in Anaheim, to move him into second in the Championship standings.

Expert Pick
Eli Tomac arrives with the best record on the start hill in 2026, yet to finish a race off the podium. He also enjoys the added boost of defending his title at this venue. While that might be enough to convince most of his worthiness, we’re eyeing Chase Sexton in the Triple Crown (TC) leg. He claimed two of the three TC rounds in 2025, and we’re confident he can ride to glory in the “Lone Star State.”
Odds for a Podium
After consecutive podiums, Hunter Lawrence lines up in Houston at -170 to finish inside the top three. The Australian averages 2.67 leading into round four, the second best in the field behind Eli Tomac. Ken Roczen is another rider with two podiums to his name this year, but he battled at Anaheim 2, returning home in eighth. The Suzuki rider now finds himself in fourth in the standings, one point shy of Chase Sexton.
Roczen’s teammate, Jason Anderson, offers the best value for money for the visit to NRG Stadium. Sportsbooks have him at +2497, despite registering two top fives in the first three rounds of the campaign. Reigning Supercross Champion, Cooper Webb, delivered his maiden top five of the series last weekend and is back at the venue where he ended fifth in 2023.

H2H Odds
The top of the standings clash between Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac presents an opportunity, with the latter starting at -110. Tomac lost to Sexton last time out, but he’s snatched two checkered flags already in 2026 and won in Houston when the Championship last visited in 2023. Looking at recent form, Tomac arrives with a 1.67 average in the first three rounds, compared to his rival’s 4.33. However, Chase Sexton is a beast in Triple Crown events, conquering two of three last year.

2026 SMX Futures
Despite losing out to Chase Sexton in round three, Eli Tomac starts the opening Triple Crown leg at the top of the standings. The KTM racer sits on 70 points, eight clear of second-placed Hunter Lawrence, and 13 ahead of Sexton. It’s still early days in the race to the title, but Tomac has so far looked consistent, and he’s reasonably priced at -120. However, Chase Sexton is priced attractively at +150 after improving in every start this season.
Leading into round four, Hunter Lawrence is worth a look as an outside pick. Sportsbooks have him at +600, potentially paying out $140.00 when you wager $20.00. The Aussie is a reliable competitor, but he’s yet take top honors this year, and will need a few wins if he is to challenge the frontrunners for the title.
