Best Bets and Odds for MotoAmerica New Jersey

Supersport Event Winner Odds

Mathew Scholtz touches down in New Jersey, on the cusp of retaining the Supersport Championship. The South African has found himself inside Victory Lane on nine occasions this season, prevailing in five out of his previous six starts. The last time the Durbanite finished off the podium was back at Road America.

His nearest challenger is P.J. Jacobsen, who sits 21 points adrift in the standings and enters with six consecutive podiums under the bike. Jacobsen is a model for consistency this year, entering the top three in all but one race. Another rider from the “Rainbow Nation,” Cameron Petersen, has cleaned up his act late in the season, clinching five podiums in his past seven starts.

Expert Pick for Supersport

Reigning Supersport Champion, Mathew Scholtz, is the logical expert pick for the season finale. He takes to the track with a 70% win rate in his previous ten races, justifying his short odds. Sportsbooks have him at -100 for the victory, possibly paying out $40.00 when you wager $20.00.

Superbike Event Winner Odds

Three riders are still in contention for the 2025 Superbike Championship, with Josh Herrin leading the odds into New Jersey. The favorite rode his way to victory and a third place on the Texas leg, his only two podiums in the last five starts. He’s the winningest rider in the class with six triumphs under the bike.

Cameron Beaubier is finishing the season how it started. Strong. He’s taken top honors twice in the last three races, raising his tally to five victories this term. The Superbike Championship leader, Bobby Fong, exits the pits as the best value for money pick. He starts off the back of nine consecutive podiums, standing on the top step after five of those races.

Expert Pick for Superbike

Picking a winner in the Superbike category has remained a challenge throughout the season, with Fong, Beaubier, and Herrin all excelling. However, we are sticking with Bobby Fong heading into the decider, given his outstanding consistency in recent months.  He starts at +268 to win the first race, potentially paying out $73.60.

King of the Baggers Event Winner Odds

Kyle Wyman ran away with the 2025 King of the Baggers Championship, and this round is a dead rubber. The champion arrives with the shortest odds on the program, but his lack of motivation does concern us. He clinched 70% of the first 10 races this season, and then found himself off the podium in both races last time out. In fact, he earned his first DNF of the campaign in the second race in Texas.

Troy Herfoss rode in 2025 with high expectations, but failed to deliver on them. However, he has still driven inside Victory Lane twice, one of those in the second race at the Circuit of the Americas. Finally, Loris Baz enters after grabbing consecutive podiums in Austin, taking his tally to six.

Expert Pick for Baggers

Kyle Wyman is the logical choice for victory in New Jersey, but with the title already in the bag, there is little driving him. That’s why we’re turning to his rival, Troy Herfoss. He’s struggled for consistency at times this campaign, but he starts fresh from his second triumph. Herfoss arrives in New Jersey with fair odds of +297, translating to a potential payout of $79.40 on $20 bet.
