Schedule and How to Watch NHRA 4-Wide Nationals 2025

Four cars line up in each race for the first time in 2025 as The Strip welcomes back the fastest competitors in motorsport. The lights turn green on three days of racing from Friday, April 11th at the The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Pro Stock (PS) drivers are the first to grace fans with their presence, driving onto the track for qualifiers on Friday at noon Pacific time.  Funny Cars (FC) and Top Fuel (TF) directly follow before competitors take a break until the late afternoon.

Round one qualifying and the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge shifts into gear on Saturday at lunchtime when Doug Kalitta starts his title defense in the Top Fuel department. Sunday, April 13th is elimination day with the TF and Funny Car racers first down the straight at 12 PM. Drag racing concludes in Nevada late on Sunday afternoon.

NHRA TV and Fox Sports 1 will deliver live racing to your device from Friday to Sunday if you can’t join the festivities in “The Entertainment Capital of the World.”

Antron Brown (+595)

Defending series Champion Antron Brown lines up at The Strip as the third-best driver in Top Fuel this year. Brown started his season strong with a win at Gatornationals but hasn’t progressed past E2 since. His last visit to Vegas saw him knocked out in E1, losing to Clay Millican and Tony Stewart.

Shawn Langdon (+650)

Series leader Shawn Langdon enjoys a 77-point cushion over Doug Kalitta at the top after an E3 return at the Winternationals. The E3 loss is his worst return to date after finishing second in the season opener and winning the Arizona Nationals.

Doug Kalitta (+755)

Series chaser Doug Kalitta returns to Las Vegas to defend his 4-wide title. The 2023 Series Champion crossed the line 0.30 seconds ahead of Justin Ashley and Steve Torrence to lift the trophy last year. Kalitta has missed out in the second elimination round twice this year and was a losing finalist in Arizona.

Brittany Force (+756)

Brittany Force is a regular threat to the stopwatch. After clocking the fastest ET in the division at Pomona Dragstrip, Force lost out to Clay Millican in E3, her second consecutive semi-final in this campaign. Brittany last lifted the trophy at this venue back in 2022, defeating Torrence, Schumacher, and Brown in the final.

Justin Ashley (+796)

Losing finalist in 2024, Justin Ashley is back in “Sin City” for redemption this weekend. He needs to get his season back on track after falling to progress beyond E2 in the first three legs of the year.

Clay Millican (+892)

Clay Millican increased his stock in the previous round, returning to Victory Lane for the first time this season. The veteran now finds himself in sixth position in the series after a sluggish start to his year, losing in E2 and E1 in the first two stops of the season.

Expert Pick – Top Fuel

Shawn Langdon is our expert pick heading into the 4-Wide Nationals after three consistent rounds this season. Langdon has progressed beyond E2 in all three rounds, winning once and losing the final in Gainesville. The sportsbooks have Langdon at +650 offering a potential return of $150 on a $20 wager.

Austin Prock (+339)

Austin Prock has consistently started as the favorite in every leg this season, despite only making one final. Prock lost to Paul Lee in Arizona to settle for the silver medal and has otherwise exited the track in E1. The defending series Champion crossed the line in second here last year, and is looking for revenge to claw his season back.

Jack Beckman (+466)

Jack Beckman accelerates into the 4-Wide Nationals fresh off of a win at Winternationals. The Californian leads the Funny Car series by 59 points from Paul Lee after improving in every round. He lost in E2 in Gainesville, and E3 at the Arizona Nationals, before winning the last time out. Beckman starts as the most consistent competitor in the class this year.

Bob Tasca III (+929)

Reigning Champion in the FC division at The Strip, Bob Tasca III is back in town to defend his title and salvage his campaign. Tasca III is in eighth heading into this stop, 118 points off Beckman. An E3 exit in Arizona is the best it has gotten for the Ford Motorcraft driver in 2025.

Illinois local Buddy Hull progressed into the second elimination round in Florida, before losing to eventual winner Chad Green. He’s earned the respect of punters who have pushed his odds to +973, despite sitting in fourteenth on the standings.

Matt Hagan (+1166)

Matt Hagan has failed to pass two semi-finals this year, losing to the eventual event winner on both occasions. The Virginian finds himself in early contention for the title, sitting in third, 74 points off of Beckman. Hagan entered E3 at this venue in 2024 but finished in last place behind Bob Tasca III, Austin Prock and Ron Capps.

Ron Capps (+1274)
