Round 1: FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 14-16 March
Location: Albert Park, Melbourne

Drivers line up for the first 2025 F1 Grand Prix on Sunday, March 16th, in Melbourne, Australia. The event is a fan favorite on the calendar, and last year Charles Leclerc treated us to a new lap record. Ferrari triumphed here in 2022 and last year, but Carlos Sainz will defend his title in a Williams this year.

Round 2: FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN CHINESE GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 21-23 March

Location: Shanghai International Circuit, China

The Shanghai International Circuit hosts the first sprint of only six in 2025. Max Verstappen dominated proceedings here last season, winning the sprint and the grand prix. Michael Schumacher still holds the lap record at this track, set back in 2004.

Round 3: FORMULA 1 LENOVO JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 4-6 April

Location: Suzuka Circuit, Japan

Suzuka is a happy hunting ground for Team Red Bull, with three wins from three visits to Japan. Max Verstappen seems unstoppable on this track and he was assisted in 2022 and 2024 by Checo Perez who finished second. However, one honor Verstappen is missing is the lap record, held by Lewis Hamilton.

Round 4: FORMULA 1 BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 11-13 April

Location: Sakhir Circuit, Bahrain

Bahrain is the first stop in the Middle East in 2025, and another grand prix where Max Verstappen is the double defending champion. Red Bull and Ferrari drivers have performed well here since 2022. Pedro de la Rosa still holds the lap record on this 3.36-mile track, which he set in 2005.

Round 5: FORMULA 1 STC SAUDI ARABIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 18-20 April

Location: Jeddah circuit, Saudi Arabia

The Jeddah Circuit has proved a kind track for team Red Bull, with three wins in four races. The Austrian outfit has also had a driver on the podium since 2021, the inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton set the lap record three years ago, clocking 1:30.734.

Round 6: FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 2-4 May

Location: Miami Circuit, Miami

Lando Norris rained on Verstappen’s parade in 2024, becoming the first non-Red Bull driver to win in Florida. Max won the two previous attempts in Southern Florida, setting the lap record in 2023.

Round 7: FORMULA 1 AWS GRAN PREMIO DEL MADE IN ITALY E DELL’EMILIA-ROMAGNA 2025

Dates: 16-18 May
Location: Imola circuit, Emilia-Romagna

Imola brings to mind some bleak memories for fans, as the track has claimed the lives of three phenomenal talents. However, the mood is upbeat in Verstappen’s garage after going unbeaten on this track since 2021. The last time Red Bull or Verstappen failed to make the podium was in 2020 when five drivers posted a DNF due to wheel issues.

Round 8: FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DE MONACO 2025

Dates: 23-25 May

Location: Circuit de Monaco, Monaco

After Lewis Hamilton’s dominance ended in 2021, Red Bull and Ferrari have thrived in Monaco. Local boy Charles Leclerc is the defending champion, while Perez and Verstappen won in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Lewis is still the lap record holder of the most famous Grand Prix on earth, recording 1:12.909.

Round 9: FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2025

Dates: 30 May – 1 June

Location: Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain

Verstappen is vying for his fourth consecutive Spanish Grand Prix title in 2025, a place he also holds the lap record. While the Dutchman and team Red Bull are on top, Mercedes-powered vehicles have been consistent at this track since 2019. Last year, Mercedes finished second, third, and fourth in this event.

Round 10: FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAND PRIX DU CANADA 2025

Dates: 13-15 June

Location: Montréal circuit, Canada

Montreal was unforgiving last season, forcing five drivers to retire, including both Ferrari and Williams drivers. Verstappen won his third consecutive Canadian Grand Prix in 2024, but it was the performance of cars with Mercedes engines that stood out. Mercedes, McLaren Mercedes, and Aston Martin Mercedes claimed second to seventh.

Round 11: FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 27-29 June

Location: Red Bull Ring, Austria

Verstappen has won the Red Bull home grand prix four times since 2018, but last season wasn’t to be. George Russell navigated his way to the top of the podium in 2024, giving Mercedes a boost. Carlos Sainz steered his way to the lap record here in 2020 of 1:05.61, a record drivers have struggled to come close to since.

Round 12: FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS BRITISH GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 4-6 July

Location: Silverstone Circuit, Great Britain

Local gentleman Lewis Hamilton owns the British Grand Prix, given his sensational returns here in the last ten years. Hamilton has stood on the podium here every year since 2014, claiming seven wins in that period. Lewis is only missing the fastest lap record from his portfolio, currently owned by Max.

Round 13: FORMULA 1 BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 25-27 July

Location: Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Belgium

Hamilton and Verstappen are the only two men to win at Spa since 2020. Lewis defends his title in 2025 in his new Ferrari, while Max has won three of the last four races in Belgium. Mercedes engines perform well here. Last year, they claimed first, second, and fifth, and in 2023, five cars with Mercedes engines finished in the points.

Round 14: FORMULA 1 LENOVO HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 1-3 August

Location: Hungaroring, Budapest

The Mercedes engine dominated the Hungaroring in 2024. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris claimed the one, and two for McLaren Mercedes, respectively, and Lewis completed the podium in his Mercedes. Verstappen also deserves a mention for winning two of the last three races here.

Round 15: FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN DUTCH GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 29-31 August
Location: Circuit Zandvoort, Netherlands

Since the reintroduction of the Dutch Grand Prix in 2021, Max Verstappen has won it three times. He is searching for that elusive fourth victory, tying him with Jim Clark for the most F1 wins in the Netherlands. Lando Norris broke Verstappen’s unbeaten run last year, while Lewis Hamilton holds the track record.

Round 16: FORMULA 1 PIRELLI GRAN PREMIO D’ITALIA 2025

Dates: 5-7 September

Location: Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Monza

The oldest purpose-built race track in Europe is ready for another exhilarating battle. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have won 50% of the last 8 showdowns at Monza, and this year the two have teamed up. Charles will defend his title, while Lewis is looking for his first podium in Northern Italy since 2019.

Round 17: FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 19-21 September

Location: Baku circuit, Azerbaijan

Seven of the top ten finishers in the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix used Mercedes engines. Oscar Piastri won in his McLaren Mercedes, and Leclerc, Bearman, and Verstappen used Ferrari and Honda engines, respectively. Charles Leclerc finished on the podium in 2023 and 2024 and is the lap record holder.

Round 18: FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 3-5 October

Location: Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore

The street circuits keep coming as we move to Southeast Asia. Drivers are tested in severe humidity. Lando Norris was in a world of his own last year, beating Max Verstappen by almost twenty-one seconds. The Marina Bay circuit is exquisite under lights, but inclement weather and the subsequent wet track might produce a repeat of the 2022 event with six racers retiring.

Round 19: FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 17-19 October

Location: Circuit of the Americas, United States

Round two of Formula 1 in the United States takes us to the Circuit of the Americas. After three years of consistent winning at COTA, Max Verstappen finally showed he was human, finishing third behind Charles Leclerc. It seems the Monegasque driver likes this track, as he set the lap record here in 2019.

Round 20: FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE LA CIUDAD DE MÉXICO 2025

Dates: 24-26 October

Location: Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, Mexico City

The Latin American leg of the tour kicks off in Mexico, a track that Carlos Sainz blitzed around last year. It was the best result by Ferrari in Mexico in years, claiming the first two spots on the podium. Verstappen won three races at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez between 2021 and 2023, beating Lewis Hamilton into second on each occasion.

Round 21: FORMULA 1 MSC CRUISES GRANDE PRÊMIO DE SÃO PAULO 2025

Dates: 7-9 November

Location: Interlagos circuit, Brazil

Formula 1 in Latin America concludes with the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. Last year, Max Verstappen produced one of the races of his career. He started seventeenth on the grid and brought down the checkered flag nineteen seconds ahead of second place Esteban Ocon.

The challenge with this track is storm surges that flood it without warning. In the last two outings, an average of five drivers did not finish.

Round 22: FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 20-22 November

Location: Las Vegas Strip circuit, Las Vegas

The Las Vegas strip was where Max Verstappen put the driver’s championship out of reach of his peers in 2024. “Mad Max” was defending his 2023 Las Vegas title but settled for sixth in the grand prix behind George Russell. Lando Norris set the lap record in Vegas last year, clocking 1:34.876.

Round 23: FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 28-30 November

Location: Lusail Circuit, Qatar

Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton are the only men to have won an F1 race at the Lusail Circuit. Lewis won the inaugural edition, and Max went back to back in 2023 and 2024. The Dutch driver has also never finished off the podium in Qatar.

Round 24: FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2025

Dates: 5-7 December

Location: Yas Island circuit, Abu Dhabi

After an arduous season of globetrotting, the 2025 Formula 1 campaign concludes in Abu Dhabi. The famed night grand prix was controlled by Max Verstappen until 2024 when Lando Norris broke his run. Max won every race at Yas Island between 2020 and 2024 and finished on the podium in 2018 and 2019.

Kevin Magnussen set the fastest lap in Abu Dhabi last season, but we will not see him behind the wheel in 2025.
