Schuchart rallies late
Logan Schuchart won the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series feature at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota, after a late charge turned the 30-lap race his way. He started on the front row and stayed in striking distance before Sheldon Haudenschild briefly grabbed the lead on Lap 18. Schuchart answered with three laps to go, retaking the top spot on Lap 26, then pulled away to secure the victory. The win was his third of the season and the 47th of his career.
Jackson Motorplex five-win tie
The victory also pushed Schuchart to five wins at Jackson Motorplex, tying Eldora Speedway for the winningest track on his résumé. That number gives him a strong mark at the Minnesota oval and puts Jackson at the top of his career track list alongside Eldora. Schuchart handled the decisive stretch cleanly after regaining the lead, and the final laps gave him enough room to close out the race without pressure from behind.
Haudenschild and Macedo
Haudenschild finished second after leading briefly in the middle of the feature. Carson Macedo took third after passing Donny Schatz late, while Schatz settled for fourth. Emerson Axsom completed the top five. The finishing order reflected a race that stayed tight through the final laps, with Schuchart, Haudenschild and Macedo settling into the front three spots after the last round of passes.
