Missouri Thunder surge
Missouri Thunder beat the Texas Rattlers 268.35-267.65 in a rematch of the 2025 semifinals, then topped the top-ranked Nashville Stampede 353.45-263.7 to run their winning streak to five. Maverick Smith gave Missouri the edge against Texas with a late 89.05-point ride, and the Thunder followed that with a stronger group effort against Nashville, riding four of five bulls. Paulo Eduardo Rossetto led Missouri with an 89.45-point ride in the win over the Stampede, and Julio Cesar Marques, Felipe Furlan and Smith also made rides. The Texas result gave Missouri its fourth consecutive win before the Nashville result pushed the club to five straight. The two wins came in very different forms, with Missouri winning by 0.7 points against Texas and by 89.75 against Nashville. The Nashville result carried added weight because the Stampede had already become the first team in PBR Teams to reach 10 wins in the 2026 season after beating the Kansas City Outlaws 88.75-0. Daniel Feitosa posted an 8-second ride on Short Fire in that shutout. Even with the loss to Missouri, Nashville remained two games ahead in the 2026 PBR Teams standings.
Nashville Stampede milestone
Nashville’s 88.75-0 win over Kansas City gave the Stampede their 10th victory and made them the first team in PBR Teams to reach that mark in the 2026 season. Feitosa’s 8-second ride on Short Fire highlighted the shutout and kept the Outlaws off the board throughout the matchup. The result fit the Stampede’s place near the top of the standings, and Nashville still stayed two games ahead in the 2026 PBR Teams standings after Missouri later cut into the margin with its 353.45-263.7 win. The Stampede’s night showed both sides of the scoreboard, with one matchup decided before it ever tightened and another decided by Missouri’s late push. Nashville still had the best record line in the event, even after the Thunder used two strong results to narrow the gap around it. The shutout also underscored how quickly Nashville had stacked wins in the season, reaching double digits before any other team did.
Austin Gamblers rebound
Austin Gamblers opened their homestand with a 177.55-87.5 win over the Florida Freedom, and Sage Steele Kimzey and Jose Vitor Leme supplied the biggest numbers for the home side. Kimzey scored 91.25 points on Smooth Whiskey, and Leme added 86.3 on Pop My Collar. The Arizona Ridge Riders kept their momentum going with a third straight win, beating the Oklahoma Wildcatters three rides to one. The Carolina Cowboys also stayed hot, stretching their winning streak to three with an 88.7-88 victory over the New York Mavericks. Adriano Salgado delivered the Cowboys’ third-frame ride, and that point in the order helped Carolina hold off New York by less than a point. New York still found a way to snap a six-game losing streak by beating Oklahoma, and the Texas Rattlers beat Austin as well. Florida ended a five-game losing streak by edging Arizona. Those results crowded the middle of the board, with one-sided wins, narrow escapes and streak-saving results all in the same run of matches.
