The dust has settled following the first major of the 2026 season, where Silva Saarinen and Niklas Antilla were first to register silverware. This week, players move south to Arkansas for the DGPT Jonesboro Open. Despite the results from last week, Gannon Buhr and Holyn Handley still top the pre-event odds in their divisions. Uncover the best bets and odds for the fifth tournament of the year in our event preview.

DGPT Jonesboro Open Pre-Event Odds
MPO Event Winner Odds
Who else tops the pre-event odds but Gannon Buhr? It’s been his safe space all season, and there is no change this week. He arrives in Arkansas with two victories and as many runner-ups in the bag. The MPO DGPT World Standings leader holds a 154-point buffer over the nearest challenger, Richard Wysocki. Consistency hasn’t been on Wysocki’s side, which is why his odds have lengthened to +835. Beyond the ups and downs, he has finished inside the top five three times, with a victory and a second place. But he has battled in the QCC, closing out the event in a tie for 29th.
Bettors continue to place faith in Calvin Heimburg, despite a rocky start to the campaign. He fell outside of the top 20 in the opening two events, but has improved in every tournament. Heimburg posted his best return in 2026 last weekend, tying for fifth place. Niklas Anttila arrives in Jonesboro with his tail up. The Finn stunned the field in the previous event to grab top honors at +1250. The triumph elevated him 20 spots up the rankings to place him in third for the season.

MPO Expert Pick
The double-victor in 2026, Gannon Buhr, had to settle for runner-up last week, but his form still places him in a different league to his peers. He’s averaged 1.5 across the first four tournaments this year, and hasn’t finished outside of the top two. The favorite tees off in Arkansas at +164 for the win, potentially paying out $52.80 on a $20.00 bet.
Top 3 Odds
Naturally, Gannon Buhr is an obvious choice for a top three, as he’s finished inside the threshold in all events this year. However, as expected, his odds are short at -194. Richard Wysocki enters with superb value at +236, despite a 50% top 3 record in the early stages of the campaign. Wysocki just missed out on his third top three last weekend, settling for fourth place. Staying with the value bets, Anthony Barela tees off at +297 to finish inside the top three. He is erratic at times right now, but he proved that he’s still got the goods with his third-place finish last weekend. Speaking of the previous event, Niklas Anttila is fairly priced, considering his triumph in Virginia. It was his first top three of the year.

Top 5 Odds
Looking behind the usual suspects, there is an abundance of bang for buck in the top five bracket. Isaac Robinson stands out at +146, after earning two top fives, his latest was this past weekend. His two trips inside the top five included a third place in the Big Easy Open and a tie for fifth in Lynchburg. It is interesting to see Richard Wysocki priced at +117, despite a 75% top five record in 2026. Moving down the odds sheet, we spot Kyle Klein at +246. He earned a top five in the season opener and a tie for eighth at the QCC. He’s a musk riskier option, but has proven he can mingle with the front five competitors.

Top 10 Odds
Four rounds into the 2026 season, Adam Hammes has captured three top-ten returns. His latest was a tie for eighth in the PDGA Champions Cup. It appears his consistency has slipped the punters, as he tees off at +254. One spot ahead of Hammes in the standings is Casey White. He enters Jonesboro off the back of consecutive top ten finishes, but he’s a long shot at +632. Joel Freeman carries the same odds as White after producing two top tenners in only three outings. If you’re hunting a rank outsider, Matthew Orum might be your guy. Consistency isn’t his strong point, but he delivered a tie for ninth in the Big Easy Open.

FPO Event Winner Odds
Holyn Handley assumes her familiar role at the top of the pre-event odds sheet. She leads the FPO DGPT World Standings by 19.67 points, after four consecutive top-four results this year. The Texan’s best return came at the Big Easy Open when she recorded an eight-shot triumph. Four different players have walked away from the early events victorious in this class. Among them is the second favorite, Silva Saarinen. The Finn bagged her maiden scalp of 2026 a week ago, catapulting her 23 places up the standings. Saarinen has only featured in two events this year, earning a tie for sixth and a win.
Jessica Gurthie slides down the odds table after her tie for 34th in the Champions Cup. But we can’t ignore her one-stroke victory over Ohn Scoggins in the QCC. Speaking of Scoggins, she joins the likes of Missy Gannon in sitting this round out, which could open the door for a long shot to thrive. One player of interest is Henna Blomroos. She showed her class and a cool head to collect second place in the opening major of the season.

FPO Expert Pick
With star names sitting out the Jonesboro leg, Holyn Handley is our clear expert pick. She’s prevailed once in four starts this year, but has never fallen out of the top three. She tees off in Arkansas at +174, possibly paying $54.80 for a $20.00 stake.
Top 3 Odds
With a 100% top three record, Holyn Handley tops the odds in this market, alongside the FPO Champions Cup victor, Silva Saarinen. They are safer options for the Jonesboro Open, but we’re looking for more value. Henna Blomroos impressed us last weekend, finishing one shot off her compatriot Saarinen. She’s only appeared twice this season, starting with a 23rd-place finish in the QCC before a stellar run in the last event. Jessica Gurthie has a chance to put her struggles from Lynchburg behind her and get her campaign back on track. She’s grabbed three top tens this season, including a return to the winner’s circle in Charlotte.

The Finnish contenders keep on coming, this time in the form of Eveliina Salonen. She made her second appearance last weekend and departed Virginia in a tie for sixth. Salonen was a two-time victor in 2025, including a major scalp at the US Women’s Disc Golf Championship. Keeping it more local, Kat Mertsch offers an opportunity at +124 in her home state. The Arkansan is armed with one of the top five in her bag this term, but has also produced two runs outside of the top 10. She knows how to challenge the leaders, and will have the added boost of support this weekend. We’ve already touched on Henna Blomroos and Jessica Gurthie’s form, and the duo is also fairly priced to finish inside the top five.

Top 10 Odds
The FPO top 10 odds market provides arguably the best opportunities for the Jonesboro Open. Sintija Klezberga leads the value charge at +434 after a tie for sixth place in the Champions Cup. The Latvian enters her third tournament of the season with a 10.5 finishing average. Catrina Allen and Hanna Huynh’s odds are shorter than the Klezberga, but a $20.00 bet on the latter could payout $45.80. Huynh has a 50% top 10 record in 2026 and has performed consistently in the first four events. Her two non-top ten runs ended in a 13th-place finish. Finally, Allen has two top tens to her name and finished 12th in the opening major of the year.

Top 5 Odds
