Best Bets and Odds for SLS Super Crown World Championship 2025
Event Winner
The year has been kind to skating legend Nyjah Huston, delivering three top fives, including a victory in Miami. He arrives in South America in form after securing a runner-up performance in Las Vegas in the previous round. Huston is tied with three other skaters for most top threes on the circuit. He enjoys an easier route to Super Crown glory than most, having automatically qualified for the final. Houston will have the company of Giovanni Vianna as the other automatic finals qualifier. The Brazilian scored two podiums this year, one in Brasilia and the other in Paris.
Outside of the series’ top performers, we find the ever-present threat of the Japanese contingent. The Asian nation’s prospects are headed by Yuto Horigome, who is a double Olympic Gold Medalist. He hasn’t featured on the SLS scene very much this year, but the veteran can deliver without warning. He is supported by “Nine Club” regular Sora Shirai, who has earned three top fives this year, including a podium on the Paris leg. Shirai knows how to capture SLS trophies after snatching top honors in Sydney and Tokyo last year.

Expert Pick
Nyjah Huston is the obvious choice for our Super Crown expert pick. First, he’s remained consistent throughout the campaign, and secondly, he’s automatically in the final. While his peers will be risking it all for a spot in the last round, he’ll be resting and preparing for battle on Sunday. Nyjah touches down in Brazil at +127 for top honors. That translates into a potential payout of $45.40 on a $20.00 wager.
Heats Odds
The Japanese contingent of Yuto Horigome and Kairi Netsuke led the charge in our first featured heat. Both skaters have ridden their way to victory in major events this season, but have remained scarce in Street League Skating. Chris Joslin and Cardano Russell deserve a mention as well after winning Takeover events earlier in the campaign. Joslin rode to victory in Santa Monica, while the Canadian took the trophy in Cleveland.
Moving on to our second featured heat of the Super Crown, and another skater from “The Land of the Rising Sun” steals the headlines. This time, it’s Sora Shirai who has finished third and fifth in his past two showings. Despite his odds, Shirai is pitted against two SLS winners this season in the shape of Felipe Gustavo and Vincent Millou. Gustavo is fairly priced at +251, carrying two podiums this term, while Milou is dirt cheap. The Frenchman starts at +1246, despite winning in Paris and finishing third in Las Vegas.

Felipe Gustavo is a double rostrum finisher this year and took gold in Brasilia in July. The Brazilian provides fair value at +329 for a top-three return. However, he hasn’t threatened the podium since his triumph in his homeland earlier this year. Finally, Vincent Milou is oozing value, arriving with consecutive podiums, including a triumph in Paris. He’s come right late in the season and is worth a look at +1567.
