Women’s Snowboard

Kokomo Murase soared to victory in the women’s snowboard class in 2024 to earn her second gold of the games that year. She’s back in the Rocky Mountains as favorite ahead of Mia Brookes, who placed fourth last year.

Head-To-Head Odds

The gold medalist in this event in 2022, Zoi Sadowski-Synnot, is favored ahead of last year’s bronze medalist Anna Gasser. 

Women’s Ski Big Air

Tess Ledeux flies into the “Centennial State” looking for a fourth Aspen big air victory and hoping to retain the title she won on her last visit. Second favorite and 2021 champ, Mathilde Gremaud, finished sixth last year behind Ledeux.

Head-To-Head Odds

Megan Oldham, the 2023 victor, is favored ahead of Eileen Gu, who is stronger in the SuperPipe discipline.

Men’s Snowboard

Teenage sensation Taiga Hasegawa returns to Colorado to back up his winning jump from last year. However, the smart money is flowing in for Marcus Kleveland, who has won this event three times in the past four years. He missed out in 2024 and is back to try and humble the teenager.

Head-to-Head Odds

This is one of the tightest Head-to-heads of the games, with both boarders evenly matched. It’s a youthful encounter, but Liam Brearley has marginally more experience than the teenager and earned himself a gold medal in the knuckle huck in the previous edition of the games. 

Men’s Ski

Troy Podmilsak carries one X Games medal to his name, and it is the gold he won in this event on his previous attempt. Can he pick up where he left off? As it stands, sports bettors believe Norwegian Birk Ruud is the smart choice, pricing him at +317.

Head-to-Head Odds

Mac Forehand, the 2022 silver medalist and 2023 champion, is preferred slightly more than his opponent Frostad in this Head-to-head. However, Frostad is worth a look, given the power of his jumps and the technicality of his tricks.

SuperPipe Pre-Event Odds

Competitors have to contend with a 567-foot slope with 22-foot walls to conquer the SuperPipe.

Men’s Snowboard

Scotty James headlines the men’s snowboard SuperPipe as the overwhelming favorite. Since 2017, the Australian has earned gold in this event six times and silver twice, making him the reigning king of this event.

It’s a tough contest to call in the Japanese derby between Ayumu Hirano and Yuto Totsuka, but the latter has a stellar record in this event, with a gold and two silvers to his name.

Women’s Ski

Eileen Gu defends her 2024 gold medal and is searching for a third win in the SuperPipe. The Chinese representative is heavily favored to prevail on Buttermilk Mountain.

Four-time ski SuperPipe medalist in Aspen, Cassie Sharpe, has superior credentials to her opponent Amy Fraser. However, Fraser produced a quality performance last year, claiming bronze.

Chloe Kim won her first gold medal in the snowboard SuperPipe in Aspen ten years ago. Since then, she’s won six golds, and placed once. The 25-year-old is the bettor’s choice as she looks to retain her title.

Five-time Aspen X Games gold medalist David Wise tackles the youth of Hunter Hess in another tight Head-to-head. The veteran last won here in 2023 and has a more favorable track record, but will it be enough?

Nicholas Goepper missed out on a podium spot last year, but his fourth-place finish was still one better than Mackay.

Slopestyle Odds

Competitors are tasked with navigating a 1,700-foot-long course, featuring a vertical drop of 290 feet. 

Women’s Snowboard 

Brookes recorded a 97.66 last year to beat Murase by more than three points. However, bettors are placing their faith in four-time X Games slopestyle gold medalist Zoi Sadowski-Synnot, who missed out in 2024 due to an ankle injury.

Head-to-Head Odds

Julia Marino won the X Games slopestyle event in 2017 and has only managed one silver medal since. Her opponent in this Head-to-head is Reira Iwabuchi. She landed herself on the podium in the previous edition in Aspen for her first X Games slopestyle medal.

Colby Stevenson is arguably the most renowned skier in this slopestyle contest, but it is Mac Forehand receiving love from the bettors. Last year’s winner Birk Ruud is a close second behind Mac and a worthwhile bet. The Norwegian also has a world championship title to his name in slopestyle.

Two-time Aspen slopestyle champion Colby Stevenson is the favorite against 2019 champion Alex Hall.

The bettors are banking on Mac Forehand to take the Head-to-head against Birk Ruud, but the underdog has more medals in his trophy cabinet than the rising star Forehand.

Seven-time gold medalist in the slopestyle at Aspen, Mark McMorris, appears the snowboarder to beat, just ahead of 2024 winner Red Gerard.

Liam Brearley is a young, talented boarder, but the experience and consistency of six-time slopestyle medalist Mons Roisland get our vote.

The defending champion takes on the GOAT of slopestyle snowboarding, Mark McMorris. Bettors favor the veteran, but Red Gerard toppled the Canadian in 2024.

Women’s Ski Slopestyle

French skier Tess Ledeux has two X Games slopestyle golds and silvers to her name and is back in the States to defend her title. She will face stiff competition from world-class skiers Eileen Gu and Mathilde Gremaud, who have a combined gold and three silver medals in this contest in Aspen.

Head-to-Head Odds

Eileen Gu claimed gold in the slopestyle in 2021, something Gremaud has not achieved. However, the Swiss skier has proved more consistent recently, earning three silvers in her last three attempts in Aspen.
