Briggs Danner won Sunday’s 34th Rich Vogler Classic at Winchester Speedway, leading all 100 laps from the pole to capture his first USAC Silver Crown pavement victory in his third pavement start. The win came at Winchester, Indiana, on July 19, and Danner also set the fast qualifying time at 14.972 seconds.
Danner’s victory in the No. 77 car, which he drove after replacing Kody Swanson, kept Doran-Swanson Racing’s Winchester winning streak intact. It was Danner’s second career USAC Silver Crown victory, coming exactly one year after his first, and it made him the first driver to win a main event in all three USAC national series in 2026.
Dakoda Armstrong finished second, 1.415 seconds behind Danner, after passing C.J. Leary with eight laps left. Leary finished third, Justin Grant was fourth and Mario Clouser took fifth. Brian Tyler earned hard-charger honors by climbing from 11th to sixth. Leary remained the Silver Crown points leader with 348 points, followed by Grant with 312 and Clouser with 285. The next Silver Crown race was scheduled for Aug. 8 at Iowa Speedway.
