High Point National
The UFO Plast High Point National brings one of the deepest 450 fields of the season to High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. The race is the 49th running of the High Point National and the annual Father’s Day classic, and it lands as Round 21 of the SMX regular season and Round 4 of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The 2026 Pro Motocross Championship also shifts east for the first time in the summer campaign at High Point Raceway, which gives the stop extra weight on the calendar. The SuperMotocross paddock will be on site, and the program is set to start points-paying motos just after 1 p.m. Eastern, 10 a.m. Pacific. Peacock will carry race-day coverage, and the 250 Class is expected to open the action. That puts the full card in motion early and gives the weekend a fast start at one of the sport’s most familiar venues.
450 Field
The provisional 450 entry list was revised recently and it is still not final, but it already reads like a stacked lineup. Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac, Chase Sexton, Aaron Plessinger, Jett Lawrence, Jorge Prado, Hunter Lawrence, Justin Barcia, Malcolm Stewart, Christian Craig and Haiden Deegan are all on the list, and the field also features machinery and support from Yamaha, KTM, Honda, Kawasaki, Ducati, Triumph, Husqvarna, GasGas, Suzuki and Beta. High Point also includes a substantial number of privateers and regional riders, which adds to the depth and makes the gate even more crowded. The result is a field that the event describes as one of the deepest and most competitive of the season. Jett Lawrence arrives as the 450SMX points leader after consecutive 1-1 sweeps and a win at Thunder Valley, and he carries an eight-point lead over Hunter Lawrence in the standings. He also brings a three-year unbeaten streak at High Point Raceway, which gives the defending pace-setter another target on his back. Webb, Tomac, Sexton, Plessinger and Prado give the front of the field proven speed, while Barcia, Stewart, Craig and Deegan add more quality to a lineup that already looks tough from top to bottom.
250 Class
The 250SMX race also arrives with a tight title fight. Seth Hammaker and Levi Kitchen are tied for the lead, and Jo Shimoda sits six points back, so the class heads into High Point with little margin for error. That battle gives the undercard real stakes before the 450 class takes center stage. The opening motos should set the tone quickly, since the 250 Class is expected to lead off the race program and give the crowd an early look at the pace on offer. With Peacock carrying the coverage, the full card should stay in view from the first gate drop through the main events. High Point Raceway often forces riders to stay sharp from start to finish, and that makes the title races in both classes feel even tighter. Hammaker, Kitchen and Shimoda all have a chance to leave Pennsylvania with a stronger hold on the championship picture, while the 450 front-runners enter the weekend with the same kind of pressure.
