Sheldon Haudenschild won Friday night’s BillionAuto.com Huset’s High Bank Nationals preliminary feature at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, earning $20,000 and ending a streak of three straight runner-up finishes. Starting fifth, Haudenschild worked his way forward after an early setback, moved into second before the midpoint of the race and then took the lead from Logan Schuchart with six laps remaining after Schuchart was slowed in traffic.

Donny Schatz charged late and pressured Haudenschild at the finish, but Haudenschild held on for his third win of the season, the 49th of his career and his fourth at Huset’s. Schuchart, who led the first 29 laps, finished third. David Gravel placed fourth and Spencer Bayston was fifth. The win put Haudenschild and the KCP Racing team atop the event points standings heading into Saturday’s finale, which was set to pay a series-record $300,000 to the winner.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series is set for a major Midwest swing that opens with its debut at 141 Speedway in Maribel, Wisconsin, on Friday and Saturday, June 19-20. The two-night event adds another Wisconsin stop to the schedule and makes 141 Speedway the 13th different track in the state to host a World of Outlaws event. The series, which debuted in 1988, is extending its long-running presence in Wisconsin dirt late model racing.

The 141 Speedway weekend starts a run of 10 races in 16 days, the busiest stretch of the 2026 season. The swing covers seven tracks across Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota and ends with the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 at Deer Creek Speedway on July 2-4.

Tyler Erb enters the stretch after a career-best $100,000 win at Mansfield Speedway and another victory at West Virginia Motor Speedway. Dennis Erb Jr. is coming off his best weekend of the season. Nick Hoffman trails Bobby Pierce by 44 points and has finished outside the top five in his last two races.

Cody Overton is scheduled to return to World of Outlaws competition in a second car for Triple B Motorsports at Ogilvie Raceway on June 22. Jonathan Davenport is set to join the tour for stops in Minnesota and North Dakota, with first-time appearances scheduled at Ogilvie, River Cities, Nodak and Norman County.

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will expand its 2027 season-opening Florida swing into a four-week run with added venues and higher purses. The stretch opens at Volusia Speedway Park with the World of Outlaws Sunshine Nationals from Jan. 28-30 and ends there again at the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals on Feb. 18-20.

The Sunshine Nationals will pay $12,000 to win on Thursday and Friday, with a $20,000-to-win finale on Saturday. Crate Racin’ USA DIRTcar Pro and 602 Late Models are also scheduled to race at the event. The series then moves to Hendry County Motorsports Park for the Swamp Cabbage 100 on Feb. 5-6.

Hunt the Front’s Southern Raceway in Milton is a new addition to the schedule and will host the inaugural Gulf Coast Winter Nationals on Feb. 12-13, with the finale paying $20,000 to win. The Florida swing will close at Volusia during the DIRTcar Nationals, where World of Outlaws Super Late Models will race for $12,000 on Thursday and Friday and $20,000 on Saturday, and the series will again crown its Big Gator champion.

Bobby Pierce and Tyler Erb split the spotlight at the RACEFEST Summer Championship at West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia, as each driver won a World of Outlaws Late Model Series feature on consecutive nights. Pierce opened the event by winning a 40-lap race after passing Hudson O’Neal with a slide job in Turn 1. O’Neal had led the opening half before later spinning in traffic and dropping out of contention. Dennis Erb Jr. finished second for his best result of the season, followed by Tyler Erb in third, Brandon Sheppard in fourth and Ethan Dotson in fifth.

Erb closed the weekend by winning the 60-lap RACEFEST Summer Championship Feature and earning $30,000. The victory was his second World of Outlaws Late Model Series win of 2026 and came two weeks after his biggest career victory at Mansfield Speedway. Brandon Sheppard started from the Bilstein Pole and led the opening lap before Erb moved to the front and never gave the lead back, controlling the race for nearly the entire distance.

Pierce’s win was his 10th of the season, the 52nd World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory of his career and his first at West Virginia Motor Speedway. He said the track conditions improved later in the race and described the battle with O’Neal, Sheppard and the Erb brothers as intense.

Brent Marks won Friday’s Premier Chevy Dealers Clash at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, earning his first World of Outlaws victory of the 2026 season in the 25-lap sprint car feature. Marks started eighth, worked through the field in a late-race charge and took the lead for good after Rico Abreu slowed with engine trouble near the end.

Aaron Reutzel started from the front row and briefly led early before Abreu moved to the front. The race also featured a lap 8 crash that sent Kerry Madsen’s car spinning and flipping, though Madsen was able to climb out. Marks and Logan Schuchart swapped the lead multiple times in the closing laps while navigating traffic, and Marks held off Schuchart on the final lap.

The win was the 16th World of Outlaws victory of Marks’ career and his second at Knoxville Raceway, where he also won in 2022. Sheldon Haudenschild finished second after a last-lap challenge, Schuchart was third, David Gravel took fourth and Reutzel finished fifth.

Bobby Pierce has reinforced his dominance in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series with back-to-back big wins: the Dream at Eldora, where he charged from 13th to take the lead from Brandon Sheppard with 42 laps remaining and claim a six-figure prize, and the Shale Crescent Dirt Cup at Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio, where he took the lead from Josh Rice on lap 28 of the 28-lap feature and held on to the checkered flag for a $20,000 payday. Pierce credited his father and crew chief, Bob Pierce, and the family-run team for finally ending a years-long struggle at the Dream.

The streak builds on a string of marquee accomplishments: he built on his World 100 victory in 2024 and won the Dirt Track World Championship in consecutive years (2024 and 2025). He is a two-time World of Outlaws Late Model Series champion, the fourth-winningest driver in series history, and has won four of his last six Eldora crown-jewel starts.

Pierce currently holds a nine-point lead in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series standings as he pursues a third series title and will compete next at the reconfigured West Virginia Motor Speedway on June 12-13. The Shale Crescent Dirt Cup also doubled as a points showdown between the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Late Model Dirt Series; Team Lucas prevailed, 117-84. At Muskingum County, Josh Rice finished second, Nick Hoffman third, Hudson O’Neal fourth and Tyler Erb fifth. Hoffman — who finished third at the Dream and is ranked No. 2 in the latest DirtonDirt Top 25 — is closing in on double-digit wins this season, providing a continuing challenge to Pierce’s march toward another title.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series will run a high‑purse “Summer of Money” stretch June 17–Sept. 19. The 14-race sequence will guarantee minimum $20,000 winner payouts and includes four six‑figure winner paydays. The stretch will open at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., and will include the largest winner’s purse in series history.

The Hefty Seed Huset’s Hustle on June 17–18 will pay $20,000 for the preliminary and $150,000 for the finale. The BillionAuto.com Huset’s High Bank Nationals on June 19–20 will pay a $20,000 preliminary and a $300,000 main and will carry a $100,000 bounty for any non‑full‑time driver who wins Saturday. That Huset’s prize structure will create nearly $1 million in total purse money and could top $1 million if the bounty is claimed.

Other marquee dates include the Kings Royal at Eldora on July 17–18, which will pay $25,000 for the Knight Before and $200,000 for the finale. The NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway on August 12–15 will pay $200,000 to the champion and will distribute more than $700,000 for the Championship Feature. Attica’s Brad Doty Classic will run July 14.

Additional events at Ohsweken, Weedsport, Williams Grove and I‑55 will carry payouts in the $15,000–$25,000 range. The season‑closing Dennis Roth Classic at Stockton on September 18–19 will pay $83,000 to the winner. Huset’s Labor Day weekend shows will round out the stretch.

A large field of World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series entries will converge on Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on June 12–13 for the final leg of the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash — the last official tune-up before the 65th NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s (Aug. 12–15).

Organizers expect one of the year’s toughest fields as regional and local contenders mix with national talent and World of Outlaws tour regulars. That depth should produce intense heat races and high-stakes battles for position and pride, and the weekend will serve as a key barometer of form and a final opportunity for many teams to fine-tune cars and strategies. The turnout underscores Knoxville Raceway’s continued role as a central venue on the sprint car calendar.

Sheldon Haudenschild turned an emotional personal loss into a comeback victory at the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car feature at Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Haudenschild learned his dog, Pella, had died the morning of the race, and he broke a 21-race winless streak with a win that was his second of the season and the 48th of his career. The triumph produced a visibly emotional response from Haudenschild.

Haudenschild rallied from as low as eighth during the 35-lap feature, charging forward to pass Michael “Buddy” Kofoid with five laps remaining to take the lead. The decisive stretch came during a seven-lap shootout that followed after David Gravel clipped a rut in Turn 4, slammed the Big Game Motorsports No. 2 into the wall and suffered severe rear-end damage that ended his night. Kofoid finished second for his 11th podium of the season. Garet Williamson scored his best result of the year in third and extended his streak to four straight top-10s. Cole Macedo finished fourth and Carson Macedo was fifth, with the race run before a record crowd at Plymouth Dirt Track.
